The room was clean and we had everything we needed for our one night stay. We requested a wake up call as we had an early morning flight but we never received one. Luckily I had set my alarm on my phone as well.

Our room has a fabulous view of the river and bridge - fantastic location. Even when it was busy and music playing the closed windows did and excellent job of filtering the sounds out. We will return. Thank you

Our room was ready early, so thankful for that! Great location, walkable. Shower is small, even for myself and I'm small (if you're American - we're not used to this). If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs for sleeping. I preferred this location and knew it would be noisy but wore ear plugs to bed. Great stay and would stay again!

location is perfect. Night life was great in the area. I knew when I booked, it would be a little noisy at night so I packed ear plugs. The staff was all very welcoming and friendly. I gave 4 stars because the bed was very worn out a friend had a room as well and bed was the same Other than that it was wonderful

Great hotel in heart of busy port, with stunning view. Surprisingly quiet in the evening. Breakfast limited and not worth it. Only major downside, is parking - do the research before if you have a rental esp if you are staying for 2 nights. Closest parking was very expensive. By the time we found another one, it was fully booked

Great location on the waterfront in the old town. Walk to all major sites and across the bridge to Vila da Nova Gaia. A lovely small hotel with six floors and only a few rooms per floor. The rooms are fine for two people, with a well-appointed bathroom, although the shower heads could be updated. The optional buffet breakfast, at 12€ per person, is nice but has limited options for the price. Staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful. Would recommend.

This hotel is in a great location if you want to take advantage of the waterfront, which for me was stunning. We also had incredible views from our room and with the windows open we still felt like we were a part of the city even in our hotel room. You’re also very close to a few of the main attractions such as palacio da Bolsa and the gold church, with most other major attractions being within a 15-20 minute walk. One thing to note is that cars cannot access the street and it’s about a block downhill from the main road. This wasn’t a big deal but just something to know for when you are arriving/leaving with luggage or if you have a day tour. Also, right outside the hotel is incredibly busy and packed with people a large portion of the day and at night it can be fairly loud, however, it seems like every night at 10 the singers outside would stop and things would quiet down so that was ideal. The other thing was breakfast was a charged rate and to us didn’t look great so we just went to Cafe Ribeira near by every day for breakfast. Not a big deal but would have been convenient to eat at the hotel. Lastly, compared to our Lisbon hotel there were some nice amenities we had gotten used to that this hotel didn’t seem to offer like free coffee/tea throughout the day and a place outside of your room to just sit and relax. These were all minor things but just what we noticed. The rooms were great and the beds comfortable and we truly had nothing bad to really say!
