One of best hotel I stayed. Service was excellent and staff was friendly. Our room was massive and price we paid it was great deal with breakfast included. Breakfast was fresh and quality food served.Hotel price was reasonable with sauna and jacuzzi included

The bathroom was for some reason abandoned. Towels were missing upon arrival, toilet paper was not replenished, soap as well. Calling the reception got these sorted within 5 minutes, so we were just curious why this was not just auto as elsewhere. Especially experiencing how Qatar and its people are extremely friendly, welcoming and not expecting (bakshish or) anything. The hotel is great, and the best closest restaurant we found is the al Zarka, https://maps.app.goo.gl/KYz3D7c5sK9fEcQ67
They do not call it as it is now popular "fusion", but they do Indian, Pakistani, Nepali, Chinese and Arabic (and maybe more, they have staff from those regions). Got a great dinner, happy as well, for a third we paid the previous night in Souk Waqif, and also got food for our flight back. A hamburger, with a fried egg, layer of real beef, mayonnaise and vegetables was USD 1.4, packed for the flight as requested so well i brought one back home (ordered four). Food is reported to be expensive in QTR, but You just need to find where to eat.

I had over 12hrs stopover in Doha so I have decided to book here to rest, relax, dine, etc. instead of waiting at the airport for my flight back to NY. I expected to find a nice room in a hotel that's advertised to be 5-star. This hotel is more on 3,star. It had a kitchenette, and carpeting was washed out. The bathroom was small. Worst was the absence of an electrical outlet that I could use to charge my cellphone and laptop. The staff were nice but I have decided to check out by 0530pm.

If this is a 5 start hotel then I must be Lionel Messi….worst hotel I have ever stayed in. From the reception, to the restaurant, to the food, to the room….absolutely shocking.
Don’t be fooled by the early reviews you read on this hotel, scroll down and read the REAL reviews like this one. The most unfriendly and unhelpful hotel ever, restaurant staff are a joke, the hotel room was dirty and smelly. Need I go on.

The location is good for the Musuem of Islamic Arts and the Souk Waqip. The room is spacious but lack of luxury as it claims itself to be. At its best, it can only be a 4 start hotel.

Red flags from check in, front desk guy was not very considerate. Floors in room were not vacuumed and the bathroom was moldy. The whole room smelled of mold and smoke. the bath tub did not drain properly and the wifi was not working in certain areas of the room. I got 2 towels and had to request more which never came. Asked for a wake up call that never called and had someone smoking on the floor all night. i called the front desk but nothing was done. So sad that this place is rated 4+ stars for Doha when there are other hotels more deserving of the stars. Not my 1st trip to Doha so I was truly disappointed. Do not believe the photos, the place is a dump and in a dumpy area. I did not feel safe walking around in the daylight.

Another fabulous stay and I can not speak highly enough about the team and hotel.
Heykal and all the team throughout , from front of house with Edward and Ameni to lobby, security , restaurant and housekeeping staff always fabulously personal , welcoming and always helpful to cater for any requests.
I look forward to returning again very soon… business trios always made to feel like leisure .

Terrible experience, staff unfriendly. Poor service. Rooms dated. Only staff that were friendly were the gym and pool staff they were great. The rest of the staff were rude and unfriendly. The worst experience I’ve had in a hotel. I wouldn’t stay here and would not recommend.

I was delayed for check in ipon my arrival, as staff needs to make sure i get a clean room. The size of the room was smaller than what was advertised. The bath room had a disturbing strong odor.
