It was a cool stay, the room was big and the property had an old world feel, staff was cool, someone at the desk 24/7. Slept well, breakfast was really good.

I loved this place. Location is amazing—a short walk both to the historic center and to the train station. So convenient. Room was lovely with modern decor and very clean. People were nice and breakfast bar was solid. Strong rec for the money.

Stayed here for 2 nights on a solo trip. The room was clean and spacious, very comfy bed and pillows. Bathroom was big with an enormous shower. A hearty breakfast was provided, although the sausages and hash browns were cold on both occasions. Although a 24 hr coffee/tea was provided, this was only in the eating area. A 4 * hotel should provide coffee machines in every room, rather then having to go out of your room and on to another floor to use this facility. Fantastic location, so easy to get around.

The room was clean the carpet did not seem to be very clean. The staff was ok. The shops near by were wonderful and plenty to eat around the hotel by no means did the property deserve a 4 star hotel

Positives: Staff were extremely nice. Breakfast was delicious with multiple options (hot and cold). Free coffee, cappuccino, tea all day. Great location, walkable distance to city center, supermarket, and shopping. Negatives: Our safe was locked in the room so we couldn’t use it. No ironing board. Stained carpet. Room didn’t look like any of the options in the pictures advertised online (outdated and dingy), drains were clogged - slowly draining.

It’s a great location and the staff were very nice. The rooms were clean and mostly updated except for the carpet but it was fine, just not newer. The breakfast had lots of variety and options. When I booked the hotel it said they had laundry facilities but upon arrival I was told they didn’t. They did help accommodate us and the cleaning staff washed a load of our laundry for 20 euros. Overall it was a good experience.
