This is pure heaven. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. When we arrived I had a room that didn't tick the boxes for me, Within an hour they had us moved without any issues. They went out of their way to spoil me on my birthday with multiple surprises. Rooms are tidy and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was beautiful every morning and always well stocked, coffee was brilliant.

Absolutely loved my stay at this hotel that I booked it 3 times while visiting family and wanting to get away from family 😉😂getting in “me” time when I could. The staff were amazing and friendly, and the whole place felt relaxing and comfortable from the moment I arrived. Reception ladies were excellent and got me an early check in at 12, they went above and beyond. The bar guys were awesome who served great cocktails & fantastic service with a smile 😊 The rooms were clean, the atmosphere was beautiful & the beach view to die for. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

Don’t read in to the negativity! It’s a picturesque location, with nice comfortable rooms and great aircon! The staff are lovely, the cocktails are good and the food offering is great (for Samoa). To save you the search, this hotel is no longer the Sheraton Samoa Beach resort. It changed hands in Dec 2025. But don’t let that deter you. We stayed at 3 separate hotels between the two main islands (including the actual Sheraton) and this was easily our favourite. The only thing I will say is it could use a little more TLC around the grounds for minor things like gardens, but they seemed to be working on this while we were there. Please taper your expectations for these types of destinations! Small island nations have may have big hearts, but they don’t have big budgets. Don’t expect to find a fancy Bali resort here! All in all, we loved our stay! Thanks team

Amazing spot. Big property with 3 beach’s to choose from. Rooms and amenities are great. Hotel staff were excellent, service with a smile. Some long waits for food at restaurant but island time isn’t a bad thing! Close to the airport but a bit far from Apia and other attractions in Upolu so bring cash for taxis. Best spot to book in Samoa!

Stayed at this lovely hotel for 7 nights on a business trip. Room was lovely, bed was comfy and amenities in and around the hotel were great. We had breakfast included although they could have had a little more of a variety on the menu, whether it was because it wasnt a busy period or if it was because they were not a hotel located close to town, im not sure but it was mostly quiet. Didnt get an opportunity to use the pool or spa or any of the bars as we were mostly out for the days but the hotel was what we needed for our stay. Staff were always friendly and location is literally 2 minutes from the airport. Will definitely use them again in the future. More pros than cons, only cons for us were the pillows were not firm and we only had one chair at the table in the room so it was hard for 2 of us to sit at the table at the one time, otherwise everything else was to a satisfactory standard. Thank you Samoa Beach Resort for looking after us.

We were there from the week before Easter until Easter Monday. I'd booked and paid for this stay when Sheration were still managers. It is a really nice location. The beach is close to perfect, and certainly somewhere where you can lie and sunbathe. You can go swimming out to a little island. There is breakwaters on either side. The swimming pool in the resort is excellent. It is probably overfilled for what it was intended for, but it is one of the few resorts we've been to where it is deep enough to actually swim properly without hitting your hands on the bottom of the pool. There are theoretically two restaurants, but only one of them was open for most of the time we were there. And the second one opened only on the last two days that we were there. The cooking is terrible. I can't put it any other way. I don't believe that we had one meal that was in any way memorable. They were all very mediocre. During the first part of the stay, which was in the week prior to Easter, a lot of items were not available on the menu. This was particularly upsetting for my adult daughter who was with us, because she can't eat a lot of things. And so a lot of the stuff that she wanted to eat was just simply not available or she had to eat the same thing day in, day out. By the end of the third day, we had decided that we'd had enough and we started trying to find other restaurants to go and eat.

This resort is in a stunning location and has great potential. The views are beautiful and the grounds well maintained. Rooms are a good size and all (I think) face the ocean. The staff are friendly and welcoming (as you expect in Samoa!). I believe the property is recently under new management - when I visited (Easter Sunday 2026) it seemed surprisingly quiet. I hope that the new owner/management (?) builds on these foundations. For me, obvious steps include: - Food offerings that better reflect fresh local produce and are more inspiring/unique - Cocktails that are more memorable and again have some with local individuality - Culture - find ways to show a little more oflocal culture, history and nature. Ultimately this was a nice place to stay on my last night in Samoa - with a v early from the airport next door - and would similarly be a good place if arricing too.

We had the BEST massages ever at the Manaia Spa. While the walk up to the spa is a bit ‘tired’ the walk is more than compensated by the thoroughly professional and therapeutic massages we experienced. The staff here saw that our needs were met at every interaction. It is good to see that this resort is endeavouring to build its good reputation under new strategic management. We have booked again for Christmas with the family. Our grand kids will LOVE the pool!!

We would highly recommend booking a car through blue pacific they were amazing, cheap and dropped & picked up the car. Car is for you to go and buy food in town. Food at the restaurant is really expensive and not that great to be honest. But staff are lovely and make up for it. Breakfast buffet is good :)

Lovely location great for seeing turtles poking the head out from the water, the beach access is challenging as it’s shallow for a long way out and quite cloudy water. But like I said you can see the turtles heads out of the water and it’s a lovely setting for a sunset! Very convenient for the airport if you arriving late or leaving early!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Samoa Beach Resort. Staff are amazing, the grounds are lovely and staff maintain the grass area and the pool is great. We would highly recommend booking a car through blue pacific they were amazing, cheap and dropped & picked up the car. Car is for you to go and buy food in town. Food at the restaurant is really expensive and not that great to be honest. But staff are lovely and make up for it. Breakfast buffet is good :)

Friendly and impeccable staff in particular breakfast crew. They were the most genuine and catered to our quick needs. Breakfast buffet menu of great quality. Minor issue with state of room upon check in, however upon advising front desk staff, matter was taken care of immediately. Will stay here again.

Overall had a fantastic 7 nights, staff were very welcoming and willing to go above and beyond to make sure we had a good holiday, especially considering the fact I was nursing a broken and a fractured rib from the previous 7 nights in the village, meals were delicious and the rooms were beautiful and clean and well serviced - very comfortable bed! Just love Samoa - highly recommend Sheraton - will be going back that’s for sure!
