This part of Glasgow has a lot of urban vibes with bars and graffiti. The staff and facilities were great. The old school elevator was fun. We were very comfortable

We stayed in a larger room with our 2 children (12 and 9). It's a very pretty hotel and very central for all of Glasgow's cool stuff. Feedback would be on breakfast, one poor young lad serving the whole place. It didn't matter for us as we had all the time in the world, but if you had a deadline you might have missed it...

We had a fantastic stay at this quirky little historic hotel packed full of gorgeous features and wonderful staff. Stand out staff member for us was Zultan he greeted us with a huge smile and nothing was too much trouble. We were able to check into our rooms earlier than expected and we were also able to check out an hour later and our bags were safely stored whilst we went out for the day before our flights home. The bed was the most comfy bed I’ve ever slept in! Breakfast was included for us and was a la carte it was delicious and cooked fresh to order, breakfast staff were very efficient ant attentive. We found the location perfect for us as close to all city amenities and transportation but was lovely and quiet at night, we had great nights sleep during our stay. Would highly recommend this lovely little independent hotel.

Lovely building...however...I ended up having to change room 3 times for a 2-night stay. The first room assigned was right next to the air con mechanics and incredible noisy. The second room the air con was broken - so I was provided a fan. However, the next day, the taps broke and no body could shut the water off so I had to be moved into yet another room. This room was one of the larger ones at the hotel with more modern features so a lot better. The only downside is that the walls to the adjacent room must be incredible thin as I heard a lot 'noises' at night from the couple staying next door. If you're looking for a relaxing, quiet stay, this is not the place for you.

2nd disappointing stay here. Body hairs all over the bathroom floor, toilet roll holder missing from wall, obvious mould all over the bath itself. These were very noticeable which makes me question how thoroughly the rooms get cleaned as a whole. We stayed on the top floor and the smell of the lobby was awful. Likely the smell of air con machine that hasn’t been serviced for some time. Same smell would come out of the air con in the room. Despite it being 23 degrees and very humid out, our radiators were on full blast for some reason, and despite me turning them off, they would be back on once the room was cleaned. Our second key card was also removed from the room (it was keeping the air con on whilst we were out, as it was so hot). We stayed in the suite and it was disappointing overall. I won’t be staying here again. For the price, this is not worth it.

Had an awful overnight at this hotel. Leaking air con, noisy street and broken toilet meant a very poor sleep! Staff were all lovely and friendly but these issues should have been addressed before allocating the room.

The hotel was in a great location. I got a discount code for parking in Q-Park, across the road. The bed was great. The hot water supply, for a bath, was brilliant. I didn’t, however, like using the lift. I was put on the top floor and used the stairs the whole time, which was hard work. The room wasn’t very clean, which was dissatisfying. The bathroom floor had other people’s hair on it (quite a lot of hair) and the living room surfaces were grungy. The reception and bar staff were lovely, but I’m not entirely sure I’d go back. I don’t have much of an immune system (because of cancer treatment) and I need a clean room. No compensation was offered, either.
