They could of changed my date for me but would not help me at all

Initially, I was disappointed with my hotel selection as this hotel is a fair way out of town, but, as it is near the university, and adjacent to a park & ride location, the buses run every 10 minutes. The distance from the city was not an issue for us. Parking was included - bonus, and being on the outskirts of town made it easier for us to travel up further into Scotland on day trips without fighting city traffic. Access to downtown Edinburgh was easy - 40 minute bus ride. Room was good - roomy - comfy bed - air conditioning. Buffet breakfast was same/same as other hotels. No complaints - full range of options. The dinner options at their onsite restaurant are limited. We opted to stay in town later at night at eat at a Pub in town. The buses ran late into the evening. Overall, good place to stay. Only downside is there are no dining options close by. I would happily stay at this hotel again.

I needed to cancel my reservation, and while Expedia tried to act on my behalf my request was refused by the hotel. This is very poor business practice.

Matthew was amazing!! He took the time to get to know us and always had a smile for us. He is knowledgeable and willing to assist in any way possible. The hotel room was clean and quiet. The hotel restaurant had great food. The hotel is only a 20-25 min bus ride to the City Center, so very easy. We loved the hotel and would highly recommended.

The room was comfortable but a small microwave would have been great since there’s no room service.

This hotel is massively overpriced..the room and facilities are similar to a Premier inn. Unless you need to be on the university campus there are better hotels. But eakfast was at best average quality but on one day has so hectic I could not find a table.

Check in staff were lovely and very helpful.

This was our third stay here as a family and once again it didn’t disappoint. Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The public areas are stylish and clean, checking in and out is quick and easy, and the breakfast is excellent.

Did not like the bathroom. They made it modern with glass wall and door not noise proof lol don’t need to know everything going on in there. This hotel is located on a college campus and while only 5 miles from city seemed a hundred miles away the only place to eat was the hotel. It did give me a life lesson on how to use a bus to get into town.

Love this hotel when working at Heriot-Watt. Clean and comfortable with excellent staff. Breakfast is basic but well done. You need transport though, it is out of the way for anywhere but the University/Research Park.

Booked in error as we thought is was the Courtyard hotel in the city, our fault but they wouldn't refund which was pretty tight of them.

Hotel was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. I would stay here again in the future!

They didn’t properly clean our room (they would make the bed but didn’t take out the trash). The shower wall only covers half the wall, so water leaks - we mopped it up with towels but they never replaced the towels. We didn’t know we had to place the key in the wall to turn on the electricity, the staff who showed us was a bit condescending.

Pillow cases on bed to small & pillows had been forced into cases making them very hard

Great modern hotel, 20 mins from the centre in a taxi.

Staff were helpful & accommodating. Room was clean, beds were comfy, food was tasty. Free parking was a bonus with an easy bus ride into the centre

Booked a standard twin room with 2 twin beds and the room was very spacious and clean. Bathroom was also big with soap shampoo and conditioner. Was very surprised at how big the room was
