Food was excellent

Central location, free parking, friendly member of staff. Good breakfast.Tired and drab room, too hot couldn’t turn temp down, TV didn’t work, shower poor.

A nice hotel with friendly staff.

Very friendly, polite staff at hotel. Clean room and comfy bed. Pillows a little too hard and toilet seat needed mending. However, room more than big enough for my needs and quiet if you need a good nights sleep. Very handy for train station which is only 5 minute walk away in one direction and all of the shops etc nearby are in the opposite direction.

Friendly, helpful and very polite staff. Comfortable bed and spacious en suite room. Plenty of clean towels and toiletries.Tea and coffee making in room. Quiet room, clean and warm. Good choices for breakast and highly recommend the Shimla for a great curry. Plenty of hangers but only had coat hooks for hanging items. Easy walking distance for Perth city centre and walks beside the Tay.

Nice place to stay for the night. Pillows were a little flat and so was the bed. Otherwise good location and close to city centre. Very quiet as qell

Nice hotel, room was nice, decor a little tired and dated in places. Food great, breakfast good, new bathroom in the room but an old ill fitting door? Overall not bad.

The staff were extremely helpful. The restaurant of the hotel serves Indian & Nepalese food. We came back after 10 o’clock after going to a music concert and they very kindly kept our order hot for us. Both our Indian meal and Scottish breakfast were delicious

Ideal locartion in the centre of Perth. Room was clean and well thought out. Staff very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed my stay.

room was clean and tidy staff where friendly and helpful. Found the bed to be very comfortable. The city centre was within walking distance. Thought the restaurant attached to the hotel was excellent enjoyed the food so much we ate there 2 of the 3 nights we stayed at hotel, Only thing that I was slightly disappointed with was the cooked part of the breakfast black pudding and sausage where unfortunately not to my personal taste but they had a wide selection of cereal and fruit

Great location near station and town centre. Welcoming and helpful staff. Very clean and modern bathroom. Great Nepalese restaurant on site.

We arrived just after 12 noon, were told they had been fully booked last night and could not get into our room yet. On asking to use the toilet he had to unlock the bar area (in guest book it states bar open from 10am). Ours was twin room it was clean and the bathroom looked newly refurbished. There was a kettle with coffee tea and milk, there were no biscuits and I had to place the kettle on the floor where the socket was. The breakfast was not a good set up - had to get your own coffees /tea from a machine make your own toast, It was busy at breakfast however there were noticeably tables not cleared and what appeared to be one family member eating breakfast at a table that would seat four, there were no bowls for the cereal, had to ask twice for these, choices had been made the night before my poached eggs were very over cooked and hard, They say this is family run but one guy appeared to be doing everything- reception, serving food, clearing tables while other family members appeared to be floating about. Overall it was an okay stay.

Harry, was perfect from the get go. Helped with directions, siggestions of what to see or where to park. He was friendly, heloful as he carried our bags up the stairs. Always attentive and a huge smile. He made our stay so much better. A great start to the holiday.

Better than I was expecting. Comfortable bed, clean room. Would stay again
