Really enjoyed our stay. However, our mattress was very hard. I could feel the boards in the mattress so it wasn’t just firm lol

The elevator was only accessed to the 1st floor and then a maze to get to the 2nd floor by stairs to the room. Very inconvenient

Lovely stay at the Colessio in Stirling. The staff were excellent, so friendly and helpful. We had to pay an additional £15 to park for 24hrs, but we knew the car was safe and we were in the middle of the city so this was acceptable.

On arrival had to pay £16 to park in the hotel carpark for 24 hours 😤 surely if you have a room booked it should be free parking. Walking into the hotel downstairs bar and restaurant is beautiful. Staff are lovely and very welcoming. The room was a different story, lovely big room however needs upgrading. The carpet was thread bear in numerous places. The leather bed frame was all flaking. One of the cupboard doors was hanging squint. On the table at the window there were marks which didn’t look very nice. It’s a shame as this hotel has the potential to be lovely but the room and parking set up has let it down badly

Expensive for what it was. But they allow bikes to be stored in the room which is fantastic. Very friendly staff, clean room but quite shabby with threadbare carpet. Breakfast buffet was very disappointing with little choice and undrinkable coffee and tea from stale tasting flasks. We’d stay there again but avoid the breakfast.

The hotel is very nice, but the reception staff could be more friendly and accommodating. They gave me a family room in the 3rd floor and they expected me to climb the stairs with 2 big luggage and a push chair. That was not convenient at all. On top of that they didn't offer any solution to bring up my luggage. At the end I store them at the reception because I couldn't bring them up myself. So they are poor decision makers, they just know how to address the normal or easy requests. I mean how come they have a family room at the top of the hotel with any accessibility. That's nonsense.

The barmaid/receptionist (unsure name) made our stay due to her attentive nature when I'm 2 year old daughter was sick she went over my expectations and an asset to the hotel. The breakfast was superb also and would definitely book and overnight stay again. Thank you for your help as know you were running around doing multiple jobs.

the property is lovely however the ceiling in the shower was falling down, the bathroom mirror was broken, the wall heater did not work, nor did the towel warmer. the fabric on the desk chair was filthy from hand dirt. the walls were thin as I unfortunately had to listen to the toilet usage of the next room while bathing. no meals other than a boring breakfast were offered and the building is a mouse maze. Other than that...I would not recommend a stay!

Staff all lovely and friendly, hotel room was a bit run down, damage to carpet and bathroom ceiling, bed wasn’t the most comfortable and the kettle wasn’t working. Breakfast was delicious, and check in and check out process was simple and fast.

Hotel is fine. But...., although signs are up about pay to park this was not made clear on check in, i didn't look for them in bad rain and pitch black outside. I was asked as normal for details etc, am i in the car park. OK so please put your car reg on the form. Today i had to stay again as the job ran over. Was today told to pay for parking or get fines. The sign on reception doesn't shout pay to park. It says Hotel Colessio, the small text is parking. Why ask if I'm parked in the car park, take the reg, but fail to mention pay to park. I'm happy to pay if needed. Then after trying to sort out a room rate I'm told you only have 15 mins to pay for parking, which i am now probably over. I will be contesting any fines and will pay for the additional parking of course. But come on. This is a bad deal. One happy customer, made very unhappy by this. And as standard with these parking firms. Can't speak to anyone, just wait for the fine letter. Utter joke and day light robbery. Rant over.

Lovely stay room was spacious and clean & a good breakfast. Down side was £15 for parking in hotel car park on top of the price you pay for the hotel. Was a great stay though and couldn’t fault it.

A beautifully styled hotel, very helpful and friendly staff. Room was spacious and very very clean, lovely view out of the full floor to wall windows. Our room had all amenities needed and a big bathroom with bath and shower. The bed was super comfortable and lovely quilt and plump soft pillows. Very good breakfast and choice of what you want. Such a shame they don't do evening meals anymore, as it's a lovely plush restaurant seating area. I feel it will stop people from staying. But there are great places around the city to go and all close by to the hotel. And the bar has a great selection. A Fabulous place to stay over the New Year, for 3 days. And we will definitely be booking to stay again next time we visit Stirling and the surrounding areas, which has lots to see too.

We only stayed 1 night at this hotel. We arrived late last night and had to be away early in the morning. Nice friendly and efficient check in. The reception area is lovely and bright. Our room was nice and clean, bright but there was only 1 small convection heater in the room - so the room was not very warm. On top of that there seems to be no heating in the bathroom at all. No underfloor heating, radiators or even towel rail. It was -3 outside the hotel - so the bathroom was absolutely freezing. On the plus side the staff were delightful. We left early in the morning and our hire car windscreen was frozen solid. The hotel had complimentary de icer available which is a lovely touch (previous guests had actually finished it - so the manager got me de over from his own car. We liked this hotel, and may have just been unlucky with the bathroom, and would recommend it.
