Enjoyed our two nights stay. Room clean and tidy. An extra towel would not gone amiss as only one bath and one hand towel. Perhaps a little updating needed. Food was very good. Friendly staff, very helpful.

Beds were so uncomfortable, none of us got any sleep at all.
No chain on the bath plug, which resulted in a 10min struggle to empty the bath

Building with the rooms was good and the room itself was comfortable. The restaurant in the neighbouring building was more tired and felt less clean - some chairs were damaged, some dirty curtains etc. The staff however were really great.

Great experience. Ideally located for our visit. So disappointed we had to leave before our second night stay due to family emergency. Loved the breakfast. It was a pity we had paid for the breakfast we were unable to stay for. Would thoroughly recommend.

Basic room, but clean and functional. Good enough for price point. No USB sockets, so don't forget your 3pin adaptor!
Check in, dinner & breakfast is at the pub/restaurant, with the rooms across the road, so maybe not ideal for winter mornings.

Straightforward, no-frills hotel. Breakfast good if service cancelled be slow when busy. Pub dining is good and other options ( Dominos/KFC ) are very near.

Rooms are in a separate building to the pub/restaurant. Reception is located in the pub, a few minutes walk from the hotel entrance. Not ideal when it is torrential rain outside (got soaked).
2 mins walk to Greggs, KFC, Dominos if you fancy food from any of those establishments. Drive through Costa also on site.
