I've been staying at the Grand Copthorne since 2017 for my business trips. It's a great hotel with reasonable prices, and the best part is its location—right by the Singapore River, with plenty of great spots to hang out just behind the hotel.

The service is excellent. We were able to early check in and late check out. Location is great. Walking distance to Havelock MRT station (Thomson-East Coast Line) and Bus station. Many Restaurants at the back of the hotel, also could walk to Clarke Quay area (around 2km). The food is super delicious with many choices! Highly recommend to add breakfast in your booking!

At first, I didn't expect the hotel would be that good in terms of service and location. Apparently, it was a splendid experience staying in this hotel. This was among one of the prime hotels in Singapore that offers breakfast as part of the weekend rate (others need to add Breakfast to the offered rates). Location is great...near Orchard, Clarke Quay, Riverside, MBS. Not to mention, the breakfast selection is awesome ! Great location for guests who like exercising in the morning... Great running routes just on the riverside. It was full house when we stayed...

Great location on the river, walking distance to the quays and tons of restaurants within a 2 minute walk. MRT station is across the street so getting anywhere in Singapore is super easy. My wife loved starting her day with breakfast on the hotel terrace overlooking the river.

The hotel is nice and generally quite clean. Staff were very helpful and polite. There was an unfortunate damp smell in the room and they switched us over to a new room right away. Location is not very central, but the public transport is very close and easy to use.
