Holiday Inn SINGAPORE ORCHARD CITY CENTRE by IHG, an IHG Hotel

We loved our stay at Holiday Inn Orchard city centre. All the staff were friendly from the room attendants to the Checking in staff, the concierge right down to the pool attendant. Breakfast was convenient and good value. We highly recommend it.

Beautifully clean room, excellent facilities, welcoming and courteous staff. Special mention of Shimi on reception who was so helpful and welcoming.

Good location. Short walk to a shopping mall which has direct access to MRT. Several dining options close by.

It’s really convenient in terms of location. Unfortunately the rooms are very dated and ours smelled musty - really unpleasant. It’s a shame as the rest of the hotel looked rather lovely! The pool area was great and the kids really enjoyed that. I’d not stay here again just due to the smell and the dated bathroom with shower over bath.

From check in to check out the service was five star. Clean rooms, great breakfast, great pool and awesome staff. Highly recommend. Shout out to Michael the Chef, great service and food 🙏👌

Check in was good and straightforward and the staff are nice but that’s about the best thing about this hotel, as well as the location. Bathroom - super cramped and we had to squeeze into the shower as the shower opens outwards into the bathroom door in the super tiny space . Very poor design. Room - it’s a good size and bed is comfortable. But little storage space for clothes. Lots of handing space but only 5 hangers provided and folding drawers occupied with their stuff so we had to pretty much live out of our boxes. Also we got a crib for our little one and it was made of metal which wasn’t great. Our baby kept hitting her head on the metal bars and crying and also biting into it which hurt her 2 tiny teeth. Food - we got the club access and honestly was a waste of money for our 4 days there. Breakfast was a sub par level of main breakfast downstairs with little options so ended up just going downstairs for breakfast but only had this once as well as wasn’t great. No oats or any form of porridge or even any potatoes or any good simple options for my little one to have. Even the vegetables were super salty and couldn’t give her those either. The juices as super concentrated and not fresh at all. For adults I wasn’t impressed either and after the 1st morning didn’t bother with breakfast. Club access snack and drinks - terrible . Their cocktails were the worse . Whisky sour tastes nothing like whisky sour and even gin and tonic tasted off. Went once and didn’t return .

I booked this for my parents and sister and they absolutely loved it there. Clean room. Very accommodating staff. Near the metro station and shopping centers.

Executive lounge was great, staff all lovely. Location great. Pool was great too.

V convenient placed for transport, shopping and food. King sized double cant sleep 3 and should not be advertised as such.

Breakfast was bad but the evening cocktail was good better than breakfast, room and tv rundown. No proper information when I booked my room, too confusing Staff were too busy and couldn’t attend to us

We stayed at this hotel during a short 1-day transit in Singapore. Charges were high, relative to the amenities and comfort offered. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly. The TV in room was dated, channel selection poor. It is an okay option, but you will get much cheaper option elsewhere for the facilities that you get in Holiday Inn.

Very centrally located hotel and perfect for a city trip. Room was spacious enough for four people and everything was clean. I‘ve also read the reviews regarding the breakfast environment, but for us it was totally fine. It‘s not a huge room but they are making the most out of it and the variety and the quality of the food was great.

Fabulous family holiday! Thank you to all the amazing staff especially Darren on front desk. We felt very welcome and at ease from the start. We were very lucky to be upgraded to a family suite and the rooms were perfect we felt very special. There was no noise from outside. Beds all very comfortable, rooms cleaned daily with complimentary bottled water provided each day. Breakfast in main dining room was very nice, the executive lounge breakfast was much quieter and still great options. Gorgeous pool, great for family of all ages. Lovely lobby and bar, close to restaurants and easy walk to Orchard Centre for MRT. Would highly recommend and stay again
