Always stay here when in Singapore, it's a boutique hotel but feels like home. All of the staff are very helpful and friendly. Near City Square Mall where there is Fair Price Supermarket and Don Donki (Japanese Supermarket). Near MRT as well and near Farrer Park Hospital.

Pros: location is it's plus - less than 100m from the MRT. lot of Indian restaurants within 100m of the hotel.
Cons: windowless, claustrophobic rooms. musty, moldy smell in the room - paint peeling off due to moisture. not good for health reasons.

The hotel was decorated in beautiful simplistic taste. Quite lovely. The amenities were simple. The towels were nice, but no face cloth was offered. The front desk was helpful. Having the common room was nice, although there was no cork screw to borrow. (Lol). The room was surprisingly small and the bed very hard. Location was great!

I decided to leave after one night, you could hear loud music from the bar below, the outside noise from cars arriving and noise from the park. The bed was extremely firm and seemed small for its size listed and the AC didn't really do much to the heat in Singapore

The room spaces is good that opening two large luggages is not a problem. However, not much space to place the bags except one table. The cleanness is average and sometimes has 1-2 flies in the room. The room cleaning is one time per two nights, it is reasonable for considered this price.

Staff were really friendly and welcoming however, the bed was a little hard and rooms were not sound proof so you could hear other guest members screaming during the night. Additionally the room I stayed had blocked off window which made the room a little claustrophobic. Even though these experience did hinder my overall rating of the stay, the location of the hotel was great it was next to the blueline (downtown). It was an okay hotel for what you pay for

Subway station access is nearby, a long with a shopping and convenient stores to get essentials. The hotel itself is very simple with minimal amenities but it has decent cleanliness in the rooms and while the concierge is not full service or 24/7, they are courteous & provide you with afterhours contact if you need assist.
They have a couple of common room/lounges with shared kitchenette, bathroom and TV. This space could be cleaner but it wasn't that bad. Pretty good for an average budget and the rooms were cute/spacious.

The location of the hotel is very convenient to grocery shopping, MRT / buses and Little India.

Our stay at Owen House was fantastic.
The rooms are spacious and well equipped with good knives so you can actually cook, which came handy to us. The location is prime, next to the MRT and many bus lines, and across from a Mall which was fantastic.
Sandra and the staff in general are amazing and very welcoming.
I can't recommend enough. For the price and what you get, it's fantastic for Singapore!
