L'Esperance Hotel

i like the improvements you are making with market etc but it closes too early.

Met expectations.

The hotel was great. Pool was much appreciated. Great local breakfast place within a 2 minute walk and full service, great food restaurant within 7 minute walk, however no sidewalks and sometimes lots of traffic on road to restaurants. Hotel was clean, well kept and staff very friendly and helpful in arranging tours of the island. You can walk to Divi Beach, but not pleasant - too hot and again no sidewalks and takes more than 20 minutes to get there if you don’t take a wrong turn in the roundabout! But for the price, L’Esperance was well worth it especially pre or post cruise, where you will be doing all your beach lounging at your island destinations.

Always nice to stay here, Have been staying here for conference weekends for the past 10 years. Staff always gets us what we need and rooms are well equipped for cooking and hanging out after a long day.

We took our friend to the hotel and he had no hot water in his room. Otherwise that I love the hotel as our 1st night in St Marteen before our timeshare starts on Saturday.

Worked well for our one day scheduled lodging.

Easy and professional

Meticulously clean and well run hotel with extremely friendly and accommodating staff in a local's neighborhood, outside of tourist area.

Clean and charming with a pretty patio and pool.

Great for the one night stay.

I appreciated the spot but you definitely need transportation wherever you stay on St Maarten. The service was ok but there is always room for improvement

The staff were very sweet and helpful. The hotel is located in more of residential area.

Insufficient parking. Cleaning staff do not take into account the "do not disturb" sign.

We liked the proximity to be able to buy some groceries, as well as to be able to walk (8 min) to Mark’s place for dinner ( delicious, great service and so much variety). This property was very relaxing and clean. We would return.

We really enjoyed our stay for a night before a cruise. Service was excellent and the staff even picked us up at the airport. So very nice - bed extremely comfortable, a nice kitchenette. A lovely pool! We will definitely return the next time we are in St. Maarten.

Good! Easy for my purpose, work
