Black Horse

This was the third - and last - time we stayed at this hotel. I filled up ahead of time, online, all our info. On arrival, the check in machine didn’t work. I called the help number, the human who answered wasn’t able to help. The English check in version did not work. We were lucky to find a young Ukrainian man, who was looking for a hotel in the town, who spoke Slovak, and helped us with the Slovak check in version. With his help, we managed to check in, and the machine issued the hotel card. But the card wasn’t able to open the room we were given (#207), which was located on the first floor, not on the second). Finally, one hour after our arrival, a real person arrived with a metal key, so we could enter the room. It is a pity, because the rooms are big, nice, clean, the bathroom is nice, the shower big enough. The carpets on the corridors are dirty, look terrible, they should be cleaned. After a 7 hours drive, waiting one hour to get in a payed room is not a pleasant experience.

Hotel rooms are new and modern. Building does not make great impression but rooms are fine. The lady at the calldesk was super friendly and helpful. Directly in city center

The Black Horse hotel is a very short walk from cafes, restaurants and bars in the centre of Prešov. Great location.

Good accommodation for the price.

Při mem příjezdu, dáma na recepci vypadala, ze ji ta práce fakt nebaví. Hotel jinak ok, pokoj ok. Jediná velká nevýhoda byla, ze hned pod oknem mého pokoje probíhala stavba a od brzkého rána jsem musel poslouchat mlácení palic a řinčení lesenovych trubek. Nedalo se spát.

Hotel is new, modern and very nice.

Hotel is new and modern but on a very under develped road. That apart the hotel is in a very good location and about 60m (100 feet) from the main squares. The room was spacious, and very clean and new. Internet connection was strong and the only other thing I did not like was the breakfast. Very basic. Super positive was a privately free of charge parking with security gate. Overall 7/10.

Rum, dusch, wifi, tv och säng var bra. Frukost var bra och värdar var trevliga. Men svårt att kommunicera få ingen kan engelska. Det stod på min bokning att rum städas varje dag. Det stämmer inte. Fick säga till om nya handdukar. Aska kvar i askkopp på balkong när vi checkade in (rökfritt rum). Det stod också bemannad reception vilket inte stämmer. Läget är bra.

I stayed here several time and the last one is really disappointing. Now check-in and out are managed by a service machine and most of the time there is nobody at the reception. Breakfast options are reduced (only some bread, no more soft bread, croissant, crepes or anything like that you could expect), room mini bar is now empty, room temperature still too high. But price remains the same or even higher …

Aucune climatisation , a la reception il ne savait pas si il y avait des chambres avec climatisation vraiment incroyable pour un hotel 4 etoiles vraiment un deux etoiles.

The heater of the room was too, too high, claim was done to the reception, but not solved ..... did you try to sleep with temperature around 27 °c !!!!

Very helpful staff, internet is very weak. The room is large and comfortable but overheated.

Sehr Sauber. Grosses Zimmer mit Badewanne zu einem unschlagbahren Preiss. Ca 62 Euro Pro Nacht. Preiss Leistung Top. Es gibt eine Mini Bar.Das Personal ist sehr Nett.

Pas de restaurant le soir sur place... Établissement propre car tout récent, moins d un an

Pokoje vzdušné, čistota OK. TV běží v režimu dema - zobrazují se neustále popisky funkcí. Snídaně - téměř vše studené, slabý výběr. K pití voda s citronem, džus žádný, stav bufetu po celou dobu naší snídaně nikdo nezkontroloval. Prostě jakoby nám v 8:30hod. zůstaly jen zbytky :-((
