The stay was comfortable and very pleasant.

Friendly welcome, beautiful touches in the unit. The full size stove/oven was a great help. Dining table, comfy sofa and bed with a warm vibe were all wonderful. Host was kind and responsive. Great stay!

My stay at By The Way was amazing even though I stayed for a night only but the place comfortable and relaxing I’m looking forward to comeback and stay for a weekend

The breakfast baskets were an absolute treat, and we looked forward to them each morning.

The guesthouse is ideally located next to sites where you can enjoy various activities, it's easy to find right at the entrance of Clarens. We enjoyed the service, very flexible and friendly. I would recommend this guest house whether for business or leisure.

Helpful, walking distance from centre of activities. Large apartment with nice balcony. We enjoyed our stay!

What an amazing find! My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend stay and found the accommodation charming. We especially enjoyed the picnic baskets served to your room, allowing us to enjoy the welcome luxury of having breakfast in bed. A delightful, great value stay - highly recommended!!! Thank you so much to the chef owner who also accommodated our complicated dietary requirements - really very appreciated!

We couldn't have asked for a better stay at By the Way Guesthouse. This beautifully decorated lodge is cozy and charming. The owners were very welcoming and helpful and the breakfasts, which can be delivered to your room, were to die for. I hope to return and stay in some of the other rooms - it was hard to choose just one!

Uns hat es im By the Way gut gefallen. Lediglich die nahe Fernstrasse/Kreuzung kann am Morgen bisschen laut sein.

Rezeption ist nicht ständig besetzt und es empfiehlt sich ein benutzbares Mobiltelefon dabei zu haben. Wenn niemand im Haus ist muss man anrufen. Ansonsten gab es keine Beanstandung. Das Haus liegt gleich an der Abzweigung nach Clarens und in die Ottsmitte sind es ein paar hundert Meter zu Fuss. (Grösstenteils kein Fussgängerweg vorhanden)
