Great from start to finish. The staff were fantastic, attentive and quick to respond. Rooms are spacious comfortable and equipped with everything you need for a little break away. Dinner at Roots was delicious but for breakfast we would have preferred a grab and go or buffet option only because the set menu for breakfast delays the start to your day somewhat. Overall fantastic stay - will definitely be going back and would recommend to family and friends.

I had such an amazing stay at The Forum Homini. This was my second time visiting this incredible little hotel, and I loved it even more than the first! Cozy fireplace, luxury bubble bath while looking out through huge glass windows at the stars, fine-dining in the bush, and extremely incredible service - what more could anyone want!!! The complimentary Sherry, tea/coffee/hot chocolate station and snacks were a great added extra. And the breakfast was phenomenal - I ordered it in my room and room service had no problem bringing it through :) I have been solo, and with my partner - and this hotel is perfect for both types of trips. Whether its a romantic getaway, or you need a small break alone out of the hustle of the city, there is no more of an ideal place :) Thank you Forum again for the amazing stay!

Service was absolutely awesome. Rooms are very lovely but starting to get a bit tired-looking. There’s a serous fly problem and I don’t buy the “chicken farm” story... we looked and couldn’t find one...

High expectations and quite disappointed. Service levels fluctuated drastically depending on who I queried issues with and I had to report some problems several times, such as the Nespresso machine not working - finally resolved the night before checking out. I wasn't informed the restaurant was undergoing reservations either. The first morning I waited 40 mins for the menu to be produced and had to miss breakfast because I would've missed a meeting. I guess the low rating stems from the fact that there was no real apology or plan B with the issues mentioned. Not good value for money, but on the positive side, great quiet setting away from the hustle and bustle of the city .. interesting decor and one or 2 individuals with great service. Huge potential to turn into a top 10....

Not impressed with food at all! We didn’t arrive till 6.25pm so limited choices at that time Workers in our room from 9.25 till 10 couldn’t shower till they finished as shower was visible where they were working then reception called at 10.15 saying someone was checking in now we needed to leave - rude! Workers should have fixed spa after we left

Amazing hotel. Definitely 5 star. Great food. The 6 course dinner was awesome, but the multi course concept became a bit much when extended to the breakfast. I have seen complaints of flies in previous reviews and I thought it was a minor issue but it definitely took away from the experience especially at breakfast. It's a catch 22 since this property is in a game farm, but if any could be done it would make this place flawless. Great motivated staff from reception to the restaurant. Jabulani (waiter) was the star for us
