Excellent hotel right on the beach front, plenty of options for food and drink within easy walking distance. Only slight down point was the swimming pool was extremely cold & was too cold to get in.

I had a good stay apart from the last day your house keeping took $200 from my bag ! I had just left the room for lunch ! Realized while at the airport!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Bay Hotel. The staff excelled.
Our one grip would be the breakfast arrangements which seem in disarray.
Tables left uncleared ready for new guest to eat and don’t expect to be offered coffee or tea promptly. We didn’t bother on the second day and ate out.
Couldn’t quite work out why there wasn’t a self service station for hot drinks.
However this would not deter us from staying again the hotel is in a superb position .

Liked the rooms, cleanliness and area.
Bit disappointed after booking cabana room that the pool was being re plastered- couldn't sit outside due to chemical smell of Resin/paint.
Wish we’d had been told.

The kind staff was very appreciated. My beautiful room was to die for. I had a wonderful view of the pool and ocean. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and the staff made me feel like I was at home. The free breakfast was an excellent addition. I can’t wait to come back with family and friends!

Charming “Old Hollywood beach vib’n hotel” with friendly staff that go beyond to make your stay memorable. FFiona surprised us with bubbles and chocolate for our anniversary. Oceanfront rooms definitely worth it. Sunsets from the patio or Camps beach are truly spectacular. Lionshead, table mountain and the apostles are the backdrop. And an awesome variety of restaurants just steps away. One of the best places to stay in Capetown.
