Pros: excellent location for visitors. Close to the South Gate traditional market, the city hall, the palaces, pickup point for the city tour bus, walking distance to the central train station, galleries, etc. You can use the on-site washer and dryer on the top floor. There is a small shared kitchen. Cons: really small rooms, small bathrooms. There was no one during check-in. The older gentleman walked by without saying a word or providing information until I asked in Korean. For the price and the convenient location, it was worth 3 stars.

I was shocked to find out there is no shower not even a shared shower room. The room has a toilet and sink with a hose to bathe. In the middle of Summer I am sweating and sticky- that is unacceptable to have no access to showers.

A small but clean room

When I went back to the hostel in night, the young guy who was at check in counter in the afternoon was not seen, only an old lady there who didn't understand English, I was asking about the laundry service since it was mentioned that there were laundry facilities on the booking page. The old lady said I could use the washing machine but I had to hang my clothes dry by using hanging rack, only if the clothes couldn't be dried in the morning then only I could use the dryer, the reason was because if I put the clothes that was just done washing into the dryer, it would take a long time to dry and so much of electricity would be used. This was very ridiculous to me that an operator rejected the guest from using the facility just to save on electricity. Besides, the bedsheet of the bed was very dusty like it was never cleaned and changed at all. I would never came back to this hostel again. I hope that the operator could improve on the service.

Elevator is slow and odorous. No curtains on windows to block light.

The beds were so hard and the walls of room is uneven, so one of the bed is set up lower and looks awkward.

Budget friendly hotel, great location.

Walking distance from City Hall station, convenient in this sense. Walk a little more to the Myeongdong street (the overpriced touristy crowded food street).

Second time staying here and just as easy/comfy as last time. I really like the location and the staff person was very friendly. The space was just right. I like that there is a hot/cold water station in the hallway. It could be jarring for some regarding the bathroom as it’s the entire room.

So many great food options close by, and a nice central location

The washroom is not properly cleaned, dirt has accumulated on the edges and corners of the tiles and there was a leak on the sink.

Air conditoner was bad so we suffered from warm room. Unfortunately when you take out the room key everything shuts down so when you return it takes very long time to get little air that we got from air conditioner. I loved the people who owned and managed the property. Location was very convenient and close to transportation.

It was what I imagined and expected. No bells and whistles. in this case it's a good thing. Just a place to have a blissful rest. Staff is hospitable and courteous. I will definitely book and stay again if visiting Seoul alone.

I enjoyed my stay with my siblings, the rooms are a bit small but it was okay with us since we were out most of the time. The bathroom is fine, although I didnt really like that your silhouette can be seen, since its frosted glass. Area has lots of dinning, convenient stores around to that are close by. The Naedaemun market is just on the opposite side of a big street, Myeongdong is also like about a 15 mintue walk. Overall, enjoyed my stay! Thank you :)
