Hostel Maro

Comfortable stay in a quiet neighborhood. While it may be a bit out from the center of the city, it's only a short walk from the coast and plenty of restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay again for a few nights in Jeju-si.

The room is cozy and comfortable and the staffs are nice. I also like the location as it is very near to the bus stop which different lines of buses will stop by.

Queit and peace. Have parking lot. Good breakfast.

Staff are very helpful and can speak English. Room is clean with essential amenities like towel, hair dryer, shower gel, conditioner and bath gel. Parking bays available. Great selection of breakfast with the fee we paid. Overall, very satisfied and will stay again.

The Good: 1) close to bus station (4 mins walk) 2) friendly staff 3) have designated parking The Bad: 1) little bit far from Jeju city (3-4km) 2) no lift to go upstairs

The hotel is a good hostel. The staff are excellent and helpful even stop a taxi for our trip to airport. The hotel do not have lif but the staff are helpful enough to bring the baggage to our room

overall stay was nice, the breakfast was lovely (which you need to DIY) and the bus stop is close if you do not rent a car.

The 7E is just opposite the hotel. The room is comfortable. The hotel staffs afe friendly and helpful. Definitely will consider staying here again. Next time!

Location good for bus to Seongsan-ri and for street full of eateries. Very helpful staff and the best thing was the fact that breakfast supplies were topped up and plentiful - best range we've had in 2 weeks of traveling in Korea. There was salad, some sort of sliced meat, eggs, the usual strawberry jam and white bread for toasting and even quite good coffee - and cheese slices. The breakfast room behind the receptionist is very odd but actually comfortable! We didn't like the black walls of the bedroom and long to be able to see out of a window one day but the room itself was good and clean and the bathrooom excellent - probably the best we've found.

Really enjoyed the friendly welcoming ambiance of the place, the complimentary breakfast adds to that as well. The room were nice and clean. The hosts can communicate well in English.

Even though this guesthouse was in Jeju city you had a good commuting access to everywhere in town and intercity bus station. The breakfast was great, eggs and salads with ham and/or cheese for your toasts. A good budget accomodation while staying on the island. A lot of restaurants around too. The staff was superfriendly and helpful when it came to public transportation.

Self-cook breakfast was great. The hotel located nearby the main street and bus station. The neighbor is good with delicious see food restaurant. Owner is quite friendly. However, there is no water, no toothbrush or toothpaste. The room is clean but toilet is smelly.

It was my first time visiting Jeju Island but I had a great time and stay in this Hotel. The room I stayed in is very cozy (good for 1-2 persons) and clean. Their Wifi is very good and they have Cable TV. I stayed here for a week and its location is very convenient for a traveler/explorer like me. A convenience store (711) is just right across the street. It is a few steps to a bus stop; the airport is just 15-20 minutes away; and there's a 24-hr coin laundry just beside it! I was able to pack fresh laundered clothes going to my next destination, and for me, this is a big plus! There's a street, about two blocks away, where restaurants are located. I already have my trip planned and got the tourist bus information at the airport. I was not able to take the free breakfast (since it starts at 8 AM and I usually leave around 6 or 7AM) until my sixth day in the hostel. When I spoke with the manager, she told me about the popular and must-try food in Jeju. She speaks very good English and it is very easy to have a conversation with her. For all the travelers like me who wanted to enjoy their stay and exploration of Jeju Island without "breaking the bank", I definitely recommend this place.

Easy to get to, nice clean room, good breakfast, nice staff!

Basic room but it had all the necessities. Breakfast was great, staff were incredibly helpful. Not a super exciting location but there were lots of good restaurants around and it was quiet at night. Super easy to get to by bus, taxi, or even walking from City Hall bus stop (~20 minutes). Stayed for 3 nights. Would definitely stay again.

Near to the airport, it only costs around W6000 by taxi. Near to a bus stop and 7-11. Conveniently located. Stylish reception and common area. Room clean and neat. Breakfast provided before 10:30am. Nice and friendly staff. Everything is good.

Hostel Maro is wonderful when it comes to customer service. Very informative and helpful! They were so kind to us and even suggested great places to eat and visit. Even printed a map for us and explained thoroughly. The rooms were exactly what we imagined. Very clean and comfortable. The location is perfect. Literally across from the hostel is 7eleven where you can get your midnight munchies. Bus stops are only few minutes walking distance. Great place! Loved the hostel. Great people! Thanks for everything.

What you see is basically what you get. The staff was helpful and the room had everything you needed; I just wished they had a chair in the room.
