Hotel Laon

Great view and breakfast staff were charming there was no service at the desk most times, even when calling reception they did not answer We had a man walk into our room when my wife was alone sick in bed with a cold. We had the do not disturb sign on! Wen I finally got to someone at the desk they did not speak English and tried to explain it was the exterminator that is no excuse as there was a do not disturb sign on the door Very poor training and lack of concern and safety for guests choose another hotel there are many on the beach

Great beach view and just a short walk to the beach (maybe 2 minutes). On the surfing side of the beach which was awesome! Took a lesson at one of the surf shops a 5 minute walk away

I was very uncomfortable because the building's air conditioning was not on, so the lobby and hallways were very hot (I had control over my room), and I didn't like the attitude of the staff.

Their lobby could have been more efficient during check-in. Otherwise, it was nice.

I like this property, quiet, nice view and close to the beach.

The service at the front desk and the location were good. You can see nice ocean view from the window. And it's easy to access to the beach and some shops/restaurants. The breakfast was basic but we still appreciated it. There was a line after we entered the breakfast place and people were waiting, so go early or have enough time in your schedule. The room was clean (not super clean from my standard but it's still considered clean), but the windows outside of the rooms were not clean. I saw most places in Korea were like that. I wonder why... Overall, it was a good stay. If we visit Busan again, this hotel will be one of the options.

Beautiful room overlooking the beach. Very basic with no amenities offered. Huge bathtub, bring your own bubble bath and enjoy. Hard bed. Basic breakfast is served. Hotel is very far from town-over 1.5 hours in local bus from train station. Terminus for the HB train, book tickets in advance. Beautiful boardwalk from hotel to Hundae Beach which takes about 1.5 hours.

The view was amazing. Overall, the price was really good for the view of the beach. However, the place was not too clean, having clumps of dust and hair. Also, the sheets had some minor stains. Only paid $70, so kind of worth the money for the view and free breakfast.

We booked the King Suite for 7 days and the view of the ocean was amazing. The room was spacious and clean. The Netflix on the TV was spotty on some days. There was also no grab bars in the tub or the shower. The bed was a bit firm for my liking but otherwise, the stay was pleasant.

Do not book this hotel! A stranger walked into our hotel room in the middle of the night while we were asleep. We woke up abruptly and were terrified. The hotel said they made a mistake and gave another guest our room card and brushed it off. I asked to speak to the hotel manager at check out and was told the manager was not available and will email me. I never heard from the manager. I contacted the hotel through Expedia after check out requesting a partial refund and no response. We paid to sleep and rest at the hotel but was unable to do neither of those due to the hotel’s mistake of giving another guest our room card. Never experienced anything like this at any other hotel that I stayed at, the lack of customer service after the incident is also a big red flag

The hotel staff were very helpful and polite. The beach views from my room were beautiful and the room itself was clean and had everything I need.

Overall, the hotel is great. Loved the gorgeous view of the Songjeong beach from the floor to ceiling window of my spacious room. The reason why I took off a star is because the shower does not drain properly. Due to the design flaw and a clogged drain, the water just sat on the bathroom floor, which was unpleasant. Also, while the A/C in the room was excellent, the hallways had no A/C and was very warm (it was a 91-degree day when I visited). And there was a very unpleasant odor (like moth balls) in the lobby area. But otherwise the hotel is great.

Clean Great location and all Services

Absolutely loved our stay here! We had an ocean view room that was amazing. Lots of walking trails along the beach and through the surrounding mountains. Didn’t want to leave and hope to come back again some day.
