I stayed 10 days, the first day wasn’t the best experience but the staff cleaned the carpet as requested and it was a good for the rest of the stay. I would stay if the price is reasonable.

The staff are kind and it is very comfortable.

We had a lovely stay here for the week. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely bakery downstairs and convenience store as well. Good breakfasts available too. It is further from the train station but overall a nice hotel.

The hotel was good, quiet and clean. Rooms aren’t super big but comfortable. Love the shower pressure Love that has a convenient store and a bakery inside. Front desk staff wasn’t super friendly, not sure if was due to communication issues or just cultural differences. Quite closed to public transport but not closed to Seoul’s touristic areas, takes around 30 min to an hour to get to seoul on bus and train

There are many restaurants around and I particularly love to visit " 초밥24". The salmon sushi was so fresh and yummy. Went there twice..wanted more but my priority was to taste Korean cuisine.😅 Back to the hotel, bed was extremely comfortable as compare to many places I had stayed b4. Overall, no negetive comment accept the TV volume setting was too soft even though set to the maximum (30).

The place is good clean just a bit far from the subway. You can take bus or taxi if your more comfortable. Convienent stores are very close

Some of the staffs are very friendly and some of them are not. Also, the room is pretty wearing out. Breakfast is not being refilled properly and takes long to be refilled. Service is not good. Room service is good.

Staffs are just fine. Depending on the person, they will just tell you they don’t have those kind of service or item when they do.. lazy.. Rooms are ok.. but, it is wear out. Breakfast… lazy on refill the items not really friendly service..

The hotel was nice. Breakfast was also good. The downside of things was the location. If you are heading towards myeong dong or any touristy areas, the hotel is slightly far but apart from that, hotel is near plenty of shops and grocery too.

MD Hotel Doksan is an older establishment that has recently undergone a name change. Located in a quiet neighborhood, the hotel is ideal for those seeking a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city. However, it is about a 20-minute walk to the nearest train station, and the area lacks amenities, with only Lotte Mart just a four-minute walk away. Unfortunately, the staff's demeanor leaves much to be desired; they are often unfriendly and have limited English proficiency, typically responding with simple "yes" or "no" answers. During our week-long stay, my wife and I noticed that our bed sheets were not changed despite daily requests for housekeeping. The carpets were old and dirty, and the overall cleanliness was disappointing. Additionally, we experienced issues with the door keycard, which delivered an unpleasant static shock when opening our room. This problem seemed to affect not only us but also four other rooms occupied by friends on different floors. The elevator service was slow, and the keycard system often malfunctioned, making it frustrating to navigate between floors. Overall, our experience at MD Hotel Doksan was far from satisfactory, and I would not recommend it for couples or international tourists. However, it may be a consideration for locals, as we observed a significant number of Korean guests staying there.
