One disappointing thing was that the advertised infinity pool and sauna were not included, please make this obvious in your property description, others do. We might not have booked had we known. However, as we booked a superior room we received free breakfast and 'happy hour'. You should also advertise this as it was appreciated. Not sure executive lounge is the right name thou as it is not that, great views though. The limited menu is ok for short stays, we enjoyed it, there was beer and wine available too in the evening. The food is the same each meal, no variation, would not have been that impressed if paying but its not expensive so sto moaning, loved the chicken especially. The room was excellent, staff friendly and helpful when needed, location great, we like walking. No swimming in sea outside hotel just head north to next beach, its a nice walk. A lot of the reviews were dated and the hotel appears to have responded to the comments. Its a nice hotel, we came in october so quiet bet its heaving in summer. Fantastic outdoor gym on the beach and walks through the pines lovely.

Our stay at St. John's Hotel was a mix of positives and notable disappointments. The beachfront location is fantastic and the pet-friendly policy is well-managed. Our room was clean, check-in was immediate, and staff were kind and efficient. However, the hotel's massive scale led to a chaotic, noisy environment; the lobby felt like a busy bus terminal. We faced significant waits for the elevators. The 4 PM check-in and 11 AM check-out times felt restrictive. The lounge experience was particularly disappointing. We were informed of a strict one-hour time limit during evening happy hour, and the quality of the food and drinks was below expectations. A major letdown was the cost-cutting on amenities. The room only had bulk soap dispensers. There were no disposable slippers, only plastic ones for re-use, and basic amenities had to be purchased from a vending machine in the hallway—a noticeable step down from other Korean hotels. We also had to use an external parking lot as the main one was full.

Pillowcases and towels smelled. It seemed like they just ran the laundry with just water without any cleaning agent. There is no sound proofing whatsoever. The hotel restaurant played their music so loud that you can clearly hear the lyrics even with the sliding door shut.

Great location. The hotel is very nice but you pay for everything. Want to use any of the pools you must pay, want to have a really good beer on draft you must pay to go into the pool area to drink a draft beer or you can go to the executive lounge and drink Kelly. Dogs everywhere so if you don’t want to be around dogs probably not the right place

Clean and within walking distance to the beach. However, the hotel is larger than expected, so the elevators were often crowded. The biggest downside was that the pool was not free, unlike other hotels I’ve stayed at."

The hotel is very large and cold. The room has no amenities like coffee or body lotion. There is no where in the bathroom to hang a towel and the sink area is too dark to put on makeup. “ Bland” is the term I’d use to describe the hotel.

Highly recommended!! I think the hotel marketing team didnt describe all the lovely things to surprise the guests. Once we checked in, my kids were jumping around the room. We loved the kids items in the room, a huge digital art wall, a kids’ portable audio for bedtime story, a massage chair and a king sized sealy matress and comfortable bedding. We would definitely come back to the room when it is not too busy season. We stayed New year’s day so the waiting time for Check in and elevator wasnt pleasure.
