What Guests Say About Their Stay

This was an excellent location and the rooms were clean and large. The bathrooms were a nice size and comfortable, with space for your things (this was not the case in all hotels). We had a view of the Alcazaba from one of the two rooms we had, which was very nice. We stayed for three nights and really enjoyed the convenience. We didn't use the rooftop bar and restaurant but they seemed very popular. The rooms were quiet even though there was a lot of activity outside. We enjoyed the fact that you could walk everywhere from this hotel (like the fireworks on the water at the beginning of the Malaga fair) and that there was a taxi stand close by, which was important as the hotel is on a pedestrian walkway. There were lots of restaurants and shops close by.

Had an amazing stay here. Exactly what we needed in the middle of Malaga. Understandble noicy at night as there are quite a few restaurants right under our window. Had to leave very early so could not enjoy the breakfast. But had a cocktail in the rooftop bar with amazing views over the Alcazaba

Our room’s air conditioning was broken when we got the room which made it incredibly uncomfortable. We had to stay in another room from our party on the floor due to the heat. The staff we’re very nice and tried their best but were unable to secure another room until night two so it was just unfortunate for us. Everything else was perfect. Lovely big rooms and very clean.

The room was large and fit all four of us. This hotel is right in the center of action in Malaga, behind the Alcazaba so it’s loud in the night. You have to close all the windows if you want to sleep. There is a cool rooftop bar upstairs which fills up fast. Breakfast was extra but well worth the view and the excellent service. Great location and very accessible, but it was a bit loud in the night.

Hotel I would class as 3*+ room strange shape but very clean. Air conditioning broke when we were staying during a heatwave 30 degrees at night they gave us a mobile unit but it didn’t do much to help with the heat. A bit noisy but as it has a popular roof terrace bar and is in busy part of city not surprising. However I would still stay here again as love the area.

What an awful and unprofessional experience. I booked last min and based on a high rating. We arrived at the hotel, went through the check in process only to be told AFTER that there was no AC and hadn’t been for days. It should have been disclosed when the res was made same day. The answer was not return $ it was move to a sister property which we had to walk with luggage through the city center to get to - more than the 10 min walk we were told. Only to enter a hot room with a barely working AC in the middle of the heat wave. We were told because it was a big room the AC was worse. I asked for two rooms and was time to walk around for 30-45 more min to see if it improved. This was at 11:30 at night. Upon return I was accompanied up to see if it was working. It was BARELY working. As I type this it’s 12:45am and I’m sweating in bed. Horrid. Lack of communication and disclosure. No action to make this better, downright refusal to fix with a second available room for one night. Absolutely would NOT recommend. Ever. Either property.

The central location in the old town and within walking distance to most museums and a beach made it fab. The windows and shutters helped keep a fair amount of the sound from the busy (daytime and nighttime) streets below but we did struggle to sleep at times with the noise. Hotel breakfast was superb - nothing to fault there at all! Staff were also really personable. Room had everything we needed; we just missed some hanging / drying space for beach gear

This hotel has a stunning rooftop terrace with a magnificent view and delicious cocktails. The staff were ind and attentive. The room was quite spacious and comfortable. The downside is the noise. The room (13) was at the front of the building and faced onto the street. There were numerous bars and restaurants and people having a fun night out. With no soundproofing in the room , this lead to a lack of sleep and this alone is why I give such a poor rating. Visit the terrace, enjoy the views and drinks ,but consider somewhere else to rest.
