Alhambra Suites

The room was clean, with enough space to accommodate 4 people. Breakfast was at a nearby restaurant (1 minute walk from the hotel), which was convenient for us. Staff was quite helpful with recommendations about location of nearby laundry and other amenities. Overall a good experience and great value for money.

Reasonable price and best location for sightseeing.

The hotel has the best location, really close to Puerta del Sol and therefore, close to Gran Via, Plaza Mayor, Mercado San Miguel, etc. Staff is really helpful and accommodating. Fast responses for any inquiry or service requested. I definitely will stay there again.

Good value and central for all sight seeing

It is a hard place to find and taxis cannot reach. The room we had was very small and fell very cramped. Elevator space was so small - enough room for just 2.

We love the location and the fact that besides it's a busy area the room was quiet. Friendly staff and the breakfast was fenomenal. The room was smaller than the one I thought we got, hard to walk around and the beds were hard like a rock. I complained about the hardness of the bed and the staff put some comforter under the sheets which make the bed much plesent.

It was a great value based on its location. The staff was very friendly.

Queja formal y solicitud de reembolso por prácticas comerciales irregulares – Reserva Hotel Alhambra Suites ​Por la presente, deseo exponer una irregularidad ocurrida durante el check-in en el Hotel Alhambra Suites en Madrid, al momento de liquidar el pago de nuestra reserva (cuyo total ascendía a 544.00 EUR por dos habitaciones y dos noches). ​Al presentar una tarjeta de crédito emitida en EE. UU., el personal del hotel nos obligó a seleccionar la opción de pago en USD, alegando que era una "política del establecimiento" y que, de lo contrario, debíamos pagar en efectivo o con una tarjeta europea. Les manifesté en el acto que la Conversión Dinámica de Moneda (DCC) debe ser opcional, ya que el derecho a elegir la divisa del cargo corresponde exclusivamente al titular de la tarjeta y no al comercio. Forzar al cliente a pagar en su moneda de origen implica aceptar un tipo de cambio desfavorable que beneficia injustamente al hotel. ​Ante la negativa del personal de procesar el pago en la moneda local (EUR), nos vimos obligados a aceptar el cargo en USD para no perder la reserva. Por este motivo, solicito formalmente que se investigue a este establecimiento por prácticas comerciales abusivas que vulneran las normativas de las redes de pago internacionales. Asimismo, exijo el reembolso de la diferencia económica pagada de más en comparación con el tipo de cambio oficial del día en euros.

Nice location near to restaurants and bars even that the room was very quiet inside. The staff are very nice and helpful

Ok place on a floor of a building .outside is right in the mix . Can’t get dropped off on front of building cause it’s a pedestrian street so you will have to walk a few blocks.If you get breakfast it’s a few blocks away

Para pagar ofrecieron una sola opción de pagar con tarjeta y un cargo. Se debe permitir pagar en la moneda del país.

Me gusto todo desde la llegada hasta la salida. El Aire acondicionado funciono de Maravilla , Buen Desayuno, Staff muy cooperador y amable, Super comodo y limpio el cuarto y el desayuno es a escasos pasos del Hotel. Lo mas importante a media cuadra de Puerta del Sol. El conserje fue super Amable

Good location, close to Plaza del Sol and Mayor. Taxis won't take you to the front of the Hotel, difficult after a 14 days cruise. Rooms too small not much space with 3 suitcases. Breakfast o.k.

Excellent hotel

This is a wonderfully quiet hotel centrally located.
