Bonavista Apartments - Eixample

Laundry in the room was excellent. Room was clean and had what we needed. Wifi kept dropping was our only issue.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Bonavista Apartments property! It was very central and close to transit stations, local attractions, and restaurants/cafes. We also really appreciated the storage lockers located inside the building where we left our luggage before check in time. The apartment was spacious and we loved having a kitchen, laundry and two bedrooms. Be mindful that while the kitchen is stocked with cooking utensils, you still have to buy your own supplies (salt/pepper, cooking oil…) so you can bring some of that stuff with you and save some money from having to buy it there. Shout out to Víctor who was very responsive to my questions before our stay and when we first arrived!

Great aparment. great location. A biger beds would be better as there were two slim single beds put together you sort of like drop in the middle as the beds separate if you move a lot easly. also shower preasure copuld be better,not a big deal really as there is alwyas hot water and works perfectly well. other than that confy and in very good conditions.

Very clean. Good location. Great AC. Washer/dryer. Kitchenette. Very small elevator, but at least there is one. Remember to bring your own coffee for the coffee maker!

Good location, clean, good communication. Within a few blocks for shopping, restaurants and public transportation. Nice to have 2 bedrooms. The larger bedroom faces the street and Spain hangs out late… bring ear plugs. Our son is 5’11’, the twin beds are narrow and short.

It was very nice to arrive somewhere and feel as if you’re already part of the area. Staying in the apartment gives you all the comfort of being at a hotel while having the benefits of being at home. The area was gorgeous surrounded with lovely local shops and cafes and only a walk away from the city center

We liked the proximity to Provençia and Diagonal metro stations. When we arrived, we noticed the shower wasn’t draining well and maintenance was sent within 12 hours to remedy the situation. Very impressed. The fan above the master bed was turning the wrong way for summer (should be pushing air down, not pulling it up) but couldn’t get up high enough to switch it). Was nice to be within easy walking distance of the Casa Mila, Casa Batllo and Sagrada Familia. Longer to get to other sections of town though. Would be helpful to give instructions in the welcome email on how to take the metro from the airport (Line 9 to Collbanc, then Line 5 to Diagonal). With the Hola Barcelona card, this was super easy for both arriving and leaving. Since we come from an area that doesn’t use Metro, having these instructions ahead of time would have been helpful.

Great trip. Apartment was great. Only negative was a lack of a hair dryer for wife. Being from another country we don’t normally bring one. Not a big deal. Just something to be aware of Besides this everything was great. Communication was great from apartment folks. Location amazing. Tons of great food and shopping within a km

Excellent location and the staff were very helpful in setting up transportation. Having functional laundry was great and made the trip much easier.

Overall a good experience. The check in process was very easy & Victor was responsive, fast, friendly, & explained everything. The apartment was clean, spacious enough for the 3 of us, & is in a very convenient location to restaurants & a grocery store, with easy access to public transportation & cabs. Quieter than more touristy areas but bring earplugs if you're used to no noise at night. Unfortunately there were guests that were extremely loud in the night & through 3-4 in the morning. Physical & verbal fighting & screaming in their room, stairwell, & out front. I called & left a message for Bonavista but did not hear back for 2 days. I called again as we were on day 3 of this & was told that no one had checked messages & that the guests had checked out. The lack of response to the issue was very concerning & left us with little sleep & less time to enjoy Barcelona. Also one day someone walked right into the apartment saying that he was there to fix the ac unit.. in January. The apartment policies state that no one will enter the premises unless communicated in advance - no one reached out to us. I had an international plan that kept my phone working but no call. I called Bonavista & was told that he needed to fix the ac/heating unit & that they were trying to repair everything since it was the start of a new year. We agreed he would not enter the apartment until after we left. We would stay again but communication & action on issues needs improvement.

I liked that it not only had laundry in the apartment, they also provided enough soap to wash a couple loads which is great when you're traveling with kids

This place was perfectly located and clean. The shower was big and the beds were super comfy! Or flight was cancelled for 2 days due to the riots and the staff relocated us here. They were very helpful!
