We recently spent a month in Spain and stayed on 11 different properties; a few costing 3 times as much. This little jem was by far the best. Cozy, comfortable and attractive and just steps from the largest plaza in Spain. Quiet with pleasant views. Highly recommend!

It was an overnight stop. We have used have used this hostel many times as its central to Plaza Mayor and all the tapas bars and restaurants. However you have to find your own parking. Suggest Santa Eulalia Salamanca.

Disaster from the start to the end. I wrote to the hotel a month ahead to reserve a parking spot and explained that we are senior and unhealthy people and parking on premises is very important. They answered with detailed description of how to reach the hotel and get the parking key. So I was sure, that it's arranged. But when we came, we were said - no parking spot for you, look wherever you want. The receptionist demanding that we should take car away ASAP. We found parking at the hospital far away from the hotel. The receptionist offered small discount in leu of parking, but she didn't understand that for us it was not a monetary issue. If they answer to my email that there is a parking problem, we would cancel and reserve another hotel. Absolutely unacceptable. No breakfast. Tiny room on the top floor without elevator, under the roof, very low roof shaped ceiling. Windows are just skylights, you can't open them. Climate control didn't work - was extremely hot. USB ports didn't work. Ordered two beds - got only one. All of this -for old fragile couple. Expedia should stop dealing with this place

Let’s just point out that this isn’t a hostel really, it’s a basic hotel. There’s no common room or other hostel facilities. However, once you realise this, it’s brilliant. Room was spotless, staff very friendly and accommodating of bringing a bike, good room service, amazing location and the bathroom was fantastic

Everything was great. Comfortable rooms with fully adequate installations. Parking option is small (best for drivers experienced with European car and street sizes) but well priced.
The only issue was that there was some building and street noise during the night.

Excellent location just minutes from the main plaza and easy walks to most sights, just don't depend on your GPS to get you there. Don't know about the other rooms, but ours was small and up under the roof with a slopping ceiling that required stooping on occasion. Otherwise, it was fine for a couple nights.

The location cannot be beaten. It’s a nice, few frills hostal. The walls were a little thin but all was quiet at bedtime. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. I would definitely recommend this property.

Great price for staying in such a beautiful place. Located one block from Mercado Mayor or Central Plaza, on a small and beautiful Plaza itself, it's a great option for the price.
The downside is that is very noisy at night because of the same closeness to the the town main place. I would take earplugs and stay again there (one or two days is enough to have a good idea of Salamanca).

Great little hotel, super location, lovely service and relatively large room, which was also very quiet. The parking is for small cars only, but still very good to have in such a central location. Genuinely dog friendly too.
