Hostal Roomsole

The room was one of a dozen or so in a beautiful old building, which had been completely modernized to a high standard. Which is why some of the design choices were quite bizarre. We booked last minute, so ended in one of the rooms with an incomplete bathroom. The bathroom had no door, although there was the space for one, then they decided to put the toilet in the gap where a door could very easily have been installed, exposing the occupant to the room and other guests. However, the rest of the bathroom had a frosted glass divider: what was that for? Privacy? This meant that anyone using the facilities at night, could not use the light as it would wake the others in the room. Although perhaps the cover of darkness was intentional. The shower plumbing needed to be tightened, by me, to be usable. The shower door seal, did not seal. One of the towel hooks was broken. The a/c was exceptionally effective. The room was quiet, helped by having only a tiny window, and despite the road being dug up by heavy machinery at 0700 each morning. It was an interesting experience. Would I stay there again? Not unless I was guaranteed a room with a proper bathroom, and then only if there were no other reasonable options.

Awful experience with this hotel. I was a solo female traveller. The hotel cancelled room 3 hours before checkin. I was then left scrambling for alternative accommodation.

No one really works at the front desk. Was not a problem for me but I could see how some people would not like this.

I had read many reviews, especially the negatives and i can say my experience was good. It was easy to communicate with the staff and the room was nice. My only complaint is that water leaked when taking a shower and made a puddle on the outside of the shower. Plus they could fix the furniture in the rooftop. Other than that, it was centralized to all the sites, shopping, and restaurants. You can walk everywhere. It was the perfect spot. Staff was very friendly and professional. I do recommend the hotel.

Perfect room in the perfect location in the perfect city!

Primero, pedí reservación para dos noches y resultó que solo me dieron una y no se podía prolongar. Segundo la habitación era bastante pequeña aunque ese no es el problema, sino que el baño no está separado de la habitación, el toilette está abierto a todo el ambiente… bastante incómodo por decir lo menos. No provee shampoo ni acondicionador, solo un único jabón líquido…

Excellent and convenient central place to stay. Pleasant rooms. Good air-con. Just be aware that reception is not manned so you can't leave your luggage. Communication was good and staff were helpful.

The key to the outside door did not work when I returned from dinner my first night at 9pm. I'd been given a WhatsApp number to use in case any issues came up. I repeatedly called and texted the number without a response. I asked someone walking by to give it a try and they couldn't get it to work either. After an hour another guest finally came out and I could go in. It happened again in the morning when I went out for coffee, I couldn't get in, now at 9am. (There was no coffee/ tea station at all). I stayed 4 nights and requested a refund for one of them when I couldn't get in to the building, but they refused. In short, they had no crncern for the welfare or satisfaction of their customer. I'm sorry I even went there.

A very comfortable stay! Property was clean and well located. I wouldn’t recommend this if you don’t have roaming on your phone as that’s how a lot of the communication was done prior to our checking in.

청소상태와 룸 컨디션 양호합니다. 다만 매트리스와 샤워기 헤드엔 묵은 먼지가 남아있었습니다. 리셉션에 직원이 상주하지 않습니다. 체크인할 때만 만난 직원은 친절했습니다. 체크인이 3시 이후인 걸 엄청 강조하세요. 체크인 전에 짐이라도 맡기고 갈 수 있도록 바깥문 비밀번호라도 알려주시면 좋을텐데요. 그렇지 않아서 비 오는 날 캐리어 들고 문 밖에 서 있었습니다. 화장실 문이 없지만 저희는 모녀끼리 여행이라 큰 불편은 없었어요. 위치는 베스트 입니다. 관광지 모두 도보 이동 가능하고, 주변에 맛집, 식료품점도 많아요.

la distribución de la habitación horrorosa. La ventana da a una pared. Las fotos, engañosas en internet. La tasa del butter nos está anclada, se movia, la ducha tampoco. Nos cortaron el agua. No había ningún servicio de hervidor de agua, ni nada por el estilo. No nos pusieron un juego completo de toallas, dos días seguidos. Además de tener obra y el acceso al hotel está totalmente restringida. Eso sin contar que no había nunca nadie en rececpcion para poder pedir algo.

Por primera vez en mi vida he pagado por una habitacion de hotel en la que no había agua. Era un corte previsto pero no me avisaron ni en la reserva, ni en el check in, ni la noche anterior. Lamentable

Die Lage ist perfekt für eine Stadterkundung - nur ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß von der Kathedrale oder den Setas entfernt. Die Dachterasse ist super schön. Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet, aber nicht sonderlich sauber - Grundreinigung in jedem Fall erkennbar, aber Tiefenreinigung von Bad und Dusche fehlt (Schimmel, Kalk und Ablagerungen wurden lange nicht entfernt). Das Bad ist zudem in das Zimmer integriert und kein eigener abschließbarer Raum.

Adoramos nossa estadia. Terraço incrível. Pontos negativos: Wi-Fi e a porta da entrada faz barulho. Mas são coisas simples de arrumar. Meninas da recepção são queridas.

I’d spent 2 nights in this hostel in late March. The location of the hostel is excellent because it is located next to Plaza Nueva. It just takes a few minutes’ walk to reach the main street of the city centre and the Cathedral of Sevilla. The transportation is convenient as you can take the tram from Plaza Nueva to reach other attractions such as Plaza de Espana. You can also walk to the old town whereas you can find a lot of Spanish taverns. There is a great variety of rooms for customers to choose from. However, I intended to choose one with a table but the personnel informed me that rooms with tables were all reserved. One more thing, as you can see from the photos, the toilet bowls of some rooms are exposed. That means while one is resting on the bed, one can see the whole process of another using the toilet bowl. This design was something that I found extremely weird. Yet, it’s difficult to find other reasonably-priced accommodation at the beginning of the peak travel season.

Tres bon séjour, chambre propre et spacieuse. NB : Il manque juste une bouilloire, une machine a café dans la chambre et/ou un distributeur de café dans le hall étant donné qu'il n'y a pas de service de petit dejeuner.
