Por ser un hostal, está bien. Por la Web compre otra cosa. Hay que mirar muy bien que ofrece un hostal antes de tomar una habitación. Es más económico que un hotel, pero no es lo mismo. Un detalle: nuestra habitación tenía 2 camas pequeñas juntas, cuando habismos tomado una habitación con cama matrimonial. Dice que tiene una calidad de ropa de cama, y no es así.

We chose Hostal Santo Domingo mainly for its location near Gran Via and the price. We were a little wary on entering as to what we might find as it’s a communal lobby and you have to take the stairs or a small elevator to the second floor. However, we got a friendly welcome at reception and had the nearest room, with a door straight from reception.
Our room wasn’t big but was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a couple of nights and a nice little balcony to look out onto the surroundings. The only issue was construction work taking place just outside. It wasn’t really a problem as we were up early both mornings anyway but it would be a problem if you wanted to rest, as work started at 8am.

Recomendable, el aspecto exterior da mala impresión, pero una vez llegue al segundo piso donde esta ubicado el hostal, es otra cosa. Me gustó el tamaño de la habitación y su balcón, excelente colchón y almohadas. Bien ubicado, policia en frente, farmacia abajo, y muchas opciones de restaurantes y supermercado.
