Great location to metro and can walk to most barcelona highlights. Felt safe day and night. Big room. Barcelona is noisy all the time though, so hard to sleep through whole night peacefully.

We had an excellent stay at the hotel - the room was really nice. Loved the balcony! It was clean and comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful. It’s close to public transport and an easy stroll down to La Rambla, there are 24hr supermarkets nearby. The only warning is that if you have a room by the road - the balcony is beautiful, but even with the doors closed you can hear the traffic all hours. It didn’t bother us, but if you’re a light sleeper it could be annoying.

Location was very good near the University and a nice little balcony from the second floor was nice. The property did not have 24 hour staffing but the staff, when there, could not do enough to try and help you in any way possible. The room was comfortable but the bathroom was small, the door to my room had to be locked with a key from inside. This hotel was more like a hostel with your own room and a tv. There was no A/C, only heat. The price was much too much for the stay. Would not recommend

I have to say that the staff is indeed helpful and the hotel is very well located as all reviews say. It's in fact a good option cost/benefit. However, my experience wasn't great... I was given a room in the middle of a corridor that smelled like sewer, I was in a one star hotel, so It didn't surprise me, and thought that it would have gone away by opening the window. Unfortunately there were people smoking right in front of my room and had to close it down. There was loads of noise in the corridors throughout the night and between the smell and the yelling, i couldn't sleep much. I thought I had been told that there wasn't anyone in reception overnight, which made sense given the amount of noise there was, otherwise I would have complained straight away. The next day, I was reallocated in a different room and spent a much more quieter evening. One of the things you notice the minute you step inside the hotel is a very strong smell of bleach, or some infustrial cleaning product. If you have a back history of respiratory problems, which is my case: beware! The fumes will affect you! I am now back home, in bed, with a sore throat and a horrible cough, after having been breathing those fumes overnight for two nights. I'm clearly not the reason for them to change their cleaning products, but it would definitely be a more welcoming atmosphere if there wasn't a pungent smell of bleach 24/7.

Nice and small hotel located around Barcelona University. Reception is not open 24/7 but that didn't stop them from accommodating my late flight. They asked for my travel info before I arrived and were aware that my flight was coming late. Even before I called them! The hotel truly excels in service. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant. Rooms were comfortable and clean. They were small, but within reason considering this is City Center in Barcelona. However, we had a good sized patio

Aircondition was not working properly and when we told them our issue, all they did was clean the filter and still insisted that it was working just fine. We asked for a different room but our request was ignored. We had to pay for another hotel because the heat was unbearable. We asked for a credit since we didn't use their room for the last night since, like i said we got another room in a different hotel but our request fell on deaf ears. The only good part was the location but service was below standard. We will never go back. Stay away unless you want to sleep in a sauna room especially during the hot summer months.

Location is fab, right in the centre. Room was spotless, decent shower. Lockers to put suitcases in after you check out, a lovely touch. My only criticism is that it can be quite noisy, the doors are very thin to the hallway and you can hear people going and going from other rooms. Also, I've read on another review about the same we stayed in that they were also woken up at around 7am every morning by people above moving furniture or putting beds back or something, for around 10 mins.

The area is so central, it is ideal for exploring the city. The staff at reception were very knowledgable and helpful with information both regarding our stay and the highlights of Barcelona. There is a supermarket and pharmacy next door for the essentials, and you are a 5-10 minutes walk from both Las Ramblas and Placa de Catalunya.
