Hotel Ordoñez Sandoval

This is a very old fashioned hotel. Bit like staying in a museum. Booked this hotel as the reviews were good, not sure they are correct! One says its like home from home, not sure what sort of home they live in! Also its states offsite parking, reservations required. The only parking was a very rough car park. We were on a motorbike & secure parking is a must. Cant comment on the breakfast as we had to leave early.

This is not just a hotel; it is a family home that’s been in the family for hundreds of years. It is filled with the families momentos, furniture, pictures and art and provides a wonderful look into the past. The owner is friendly and has many interesting stories. He also provides a lovely breakfast. The room was spacious and beautiful. We would stay here again if we ever have the pleasure of visiting Ubeda in the future.

Uniquely looking boutique hotel, very charming and funky. Helpful staff. This is an antique building and the expectations should be as such. Everything is working but shall not expect similar accommodations that people are used to with the modern hotels. Location is excellent right in the center of everything!!

A beautiful house, the quirky rooms are set around an Andalusian courtyard and are individually decorated with antique pieces. Breakfast was exceptional and includes fresh orange juice, a real treat. Thank-you Pepe for a wonderful stay.

Such a beautiful hotel - our host Pepe told us that his family have owned the building since it was first built! We stayed in a twin room which was huge, comfortable and filled with beautiful antiques. Location was very central and we had a lovely, very generous breakfast the next morning.

A beautiful property with xharacterful rooms and Pepe is the most obliging host. Ubeda really is a, jewel of Andalucia and worth a visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay at the Ordóñez Sandoval. Pepe is the perfect host, and we felt honoured to stay at his gorgeously characterful family home. A plentiful breakfast, a quirky and comfortable room, and the ideal location from which to explore this delightful city - we’ll definitely be back.

This was one of the most beautiful, comfortable, and hospitable stays we have had anywhere in the world. The small hotel is in a home that has been in the host’s family for three centuries, and his love for the building and the area is palpable. The rooms are large, with elegant but unpretentious charm, and incorporate modern touches like air conditioning and plentiful hot water. We were warmly welcomed, and treated as honored guests. We would return in a heartbeat, and have already recommended the facility to other travelers.

House dates from 1750 and the accommodation and setting is lovely. Wonderful host who shared the story of his family’s history. Great continental buffet breakfast provided.

This hotel was just amazing. It was full of character. It can be best described as a magnificent large house in the old part of town . It did not feel like a hotel , it was more like being a guest in the home of the owner. The service was excellent - very personal and attentive. The hotel is in a very quiet location within very easy walking distance of the historic buildings and good local restaurants. A basic but tasty continental breakfast was served in a large dining room on the first floor . A very nice additional touch was the free beer and soft drinks provided in the minibar fridge Parking in the public car park located in the square nearby was convenient and the hotel has secured a discounted rate of Euros12 for a 24 hour stay.

This is a hotel of real character so if you prefer bland chains then it's not for you. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom well stocked with toiletries (and a hairdryer) and the air conditioning worked. Breakfast was taken upstairs with a good variety of choice. The hotel was a short walk from bars and restaurants and we parked our car round the corner in a free car park.

Buen recibimiento, buen anfitrión, magnifico desayuno incluido en precio. Tipica casa andaluza con patio central que distribuye los accesos a las estancias. Decorada con los muebles de época. Un viaje al pasado, para disfrutar del esplendor de Ubeda y sus magnificos edificios historicos.

Très bel endroit, accueil impeccable par Pepe, à notre grand plaisir, nous avons eu une visite guidée de ce vieux palais riche en histoire de la famille de Pepe. Le déjeuner est excellent, tout se fait à pied de l’hôtel.

Buena. Tranquila

Un hotel peculiar, palacete antiguo, con decoración vintage muy limpio, con un trato excelente por parte del dueño y el desayuno muy rico y servido como si estuvieras en una casa. Muy agradable.

Le cadre est exceptionnel, authentique et l'accueil très agréable.
