Our family of four had a great stay at Hotel Portofino. It’s nothing fancy, but it was quite comfortable and spacious for the four of us. It’s just a short (10-15 minutes) walk to the beach. The hotel actually has two buildings, and registration is in the building that is connected to a restaurant (we never ate at the restaurant, but there were always lots of people there). The building across the street (the one whose facade is shown on the website) has the pool. (We didn’t use the pool, we just went to the beach.) The hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. We asked about where to buy inexpensive beach towels, and they suggested a couple of places but said we could also just use the towels in our room (and they always replenished our towels) — perfect! We had a rental car and found free street parking right in front of the hotel. The holder for the shower head was broken, and although there was a zip tie attached so you could try to rig the shower head, it was kind of awkward / useless. Other than that one small issue, the hotel was great.

Stayed in room 506 overall seemed nice to begin with. There was a mistery stain on one of the sheets but the reception which is located over the road was shut so couldnt alert staff till the morning. The rooms were 'cleaned' daily and all seemed fine untill we checked out and realsied we had bed bugs, we'd noticed bites but thought they were mosquitoes but upon opening luggage on return home our bags were filled with them.

There were many things broken or not in good condition. There was a leak in the ceiling of the bathroom, the vanity would not drain well, a light in the bathroom and another one in the room need to be replaced, a pillowcase was stained, the curtain was broken, the hair dryer was installed incorrectly so we could not use it, there was mold in the shower corners, the shower head was taped to the rod so it could not be raised or lowered. Light bulbs in a couple of corridors were blinking. There is an obvious disregard to maintain/repair the property. I have pictures of all this in case management wants to look at them.

Hotel propre chambre propre petit déjeuner correct la piscine est excellente avec balneo des jets de partout tres bien pour la rééducation mais juste un petit bemol pour l'acceuil les receptionniste sont froid il reponde juste a vos question c'est tres froid

Hemos estado muy agusto,la habitación era con vistas al canal y era muy bonita, el hotel pequeñito y tranquilo,y la piscina con chorros por todas partes. La habitación era grande con cama de 1:50 y la bañera era bastante grande también la verdad que me ha gustado mucho repetiré.

Ruido toda la noche, no se ha podido dormir, otros usuarios protestando del ruido en los pasillos. Personal amable y buen desayuno, nos lo han ofrecido por las molestias. Sitio bonito, buena piscina, comodo, cercano a restaurantes, una pena de gente maleducada en el mismo pasillo.

The room is dated and requires a lot of maintenance. The fridge was not working, one of the light fittings was hanging off the wall and not all of the lights were working. Just before going to sleep there was a drip from the roof. I advised reception and they sent someone up. Unfortunately it could not be repaired and a bucket had to be placed under the drip. The hotel was full so they advised we could not be moved. This drip went on through the night. Very uncomfortable stay

Bonne laceuil malgré notre arrive tardive Piscine froide pas du tout chauffe malgré un soleil radieux Je pense que c'est dû aux feuille tombe des arbres de la rue à coter et qui une fois dans l eau elles bouchent les filtres de la piscine Feuille visible dans les filtres lorsque vous êtes dans la piscine Le pire nous avions la chambre 506 Ma femme et moi avons été pris de mangaisons les deux matins lors de notre revil Soit punaise de lit je n'espère pas soit la lessive utilisé mais bon séjour désagréable vis à vis de la piscine froide et de ces démangeaisons qui partais âpre sune bonne douche au reveil

Llegamos y las toallas estaban humedas y con manchas, la nevera apagada, pero lo peor de todo, fue que el aire acondicionado estaba roto, nos quejamos a las 14:00 (nada más hacer el check in), nos dijeron que lo iban a revisar, pero después de quejarnos varias veces en la recepción del hotel, nos informó el responsable de mantenimiento a las 21:00 que estaban intentando repararlo, y a las 23:00 nos dijeron que no lo habían podido reparar, la solución fue darnos un ventilador malo. La dirección del hotel no se puso en contacto con nosotros en ningún momento, nos sentimos ignorados por la recepcionista que nos atendió al llegar y estafados ya que nos daban largas y estaba claro que no iban a solucionar nada. Queremos dar las Gracias a Expedia, que nos pudieron reubicar, aunque eran cerca de las 24:00, nos lo solucionaron rápidamente. En resumen, no volveríamos al Hotel Portofino aunque nos regalasen la estancia.

A l'arrivée nous avons eu un problème avec notre lit. Un pied s'est détaché. Nous l'avons signalé et immédiatement l'hôtel nous a affecté une autre chambre. Donc nous étions très satisfait. Pour le teste tout s'est bien passé même si l'activité "pub" en soirée se déroule jusque vers minuit...Nous étions au 3ème étage, cela ne nous a pas dérangé.
