1. Checked in early and were told to return at 3 pm, which we did. When we returned, we had to wait another 45 minutes just to get the room key because of a long line and under-staffing.
2. Asked a male front-desk staffer - the morning of June 22 - if the hotel provided beach towels. The response was quite rude: “No, and you are prohibited from using the room towels.” It seems like the staffer skipped the Courtesy 101 class.
3. The design of the room is worst I’ve experienced in 45 years of traveling. The bathroom has a window that allows others to look in even when you lower the window screen. Also, a book shelf inexplicably juts into the middle of the room. I ran into the shelf while attempting to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, resulting in bloody gash and a black eye. I’ll take responsibility for not being more careful, but I’m certain I’m not the only guest ever to experience this mishap.
4. At checkout, the front desk staffer didn’t ask about my stay. I hadn’t complained about any of the above so there was no way for her to know that my three-night stay had not met my expectations.
The hotel is in a great location directly across from the beach in the Poble Nou neighborhood. It’s probably the only aspect of this hotel I would recommend to fellow travelers. Otherwise, you would be better off staying somewhere else.

Stay a way from them,
While waiting to check out, one of our friends bag was stolen in the lobby,
Every day there was a security guy trying to checking our behavior and the day we checked out, there was nowhere to be found.
I believe it was inside job since the managment would not help at all,
we called the police and they saw a person with the CCTV
coming in and getting the bag and leaving from the hotel as he works there.
My friend hand bag, was stollen with everything on it,
the phone, envelope, passport, CC, it was unbelievable experience, Saturday morning, embassy was closed, so inconvenient to find the way to travel.
Incredibly suspicious and I would stay a way from this hotel.

A pleasant stay at this hotel, clean and comfortable with great facilities. Location is slightly further away but there is a tram and metro station close by.
Rooms were a little noisy as you could hear the noise in the corridors very clearly, other than that though a stay I’d recommend.

Used to be great. Have stayed here three years in a row. New management has seen cost cutting (front desk staff told me) and it’s really suffering now. Was moved to 3 different rooms and AC was broken or weak in all of them. It was like sleeping in a sauna

El único inconveniente fue que el A/C no servía en la habitación y a pesar que nos cambiaron a otra habitación fue lo mismo, pese a que trataron de arreglar el inconveniente, no se logró
