We have stayed here a few times now and can't fault it by any way shape or means. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were a bit wary this time when we arrived as my husband isn't very great at walking long distances without having to rest as he has breathing problems. We were put down by the pool which was great as wasn't too far for swim. But long way up to go out for the evening The added bonus was that there was lift as that was a great benefit so we managed just fine and had a fantastic holiday as always

Really hard beds, no hot water after the first minute. We thought all the negative reviews were from people who were snobby, but it is the truth - you get what you pay for. Breakfast was good, but lunch/dinner was a real roulette of whether it’d be edible. I wouldn’t get all inclusive as the alcohol was really unpleasant! Wine in paper cups was a real highlight.

Just back from a week here and after reading reviews, we can honestly say we weren’t sure what to expect. However, we had a lovely stay, yes it’s hilly (even the complex) but this wouldn’t put us off staying again. We were fortunate to be allocated a refurbished room and were down by the pool and restaurant. The food was usually nice and we could always find something, if you’re looking for nuggets, sausages etc for lunch/dinner for kids then it’s maybe not for you. Drinks were ok and drinking from a paper cup not great but we just went with the flow. The complex was clean, staff were always friendly and put up with some abuse from customers at the bar and restaurant which was unpleasant to see. The only thing we could fault was that we wanted to rent an air con unit for the room but were advised from companies that Laguna Park 2 do not allow them even though they have provided insurance documents as required so we hired an extra fan from the gentleman as it was cheaper than the hotel. Also, the beds are on the firm side.

Could have been better: A. Apartment had no ventilation; door had to be kept open for circulation. B. No air conditioning in apartment; fan in one room was very noisy. C. Apartment wasn’t cleaned everyday. D. Bathroom and rooms were quite run down. E. No hot water around noon.

Laguna 2 was very clean throughout The apartment was also clean and comfortable.Food at restaurant was good and varied and staff were friendly and helpful.The only letdown was the condition of the resort itself and although very clean it was in dire need of a major overhaul.

The rooms were dated but very clean, and spacious for two people, and the views were amazing from some rooms. As you could see down to the pool and the sea leading to one of the other islands, but it’s not worth all inclusive as the food wasn’t always worth having, little supermarket round the corner works to be cheaper. Some staff were okay, if you needed a taxi they’d call and it’d be here within minutes. Night time bar staff were very friendly. They just didn’t communicate with one another properly and would tell guest difference answers. It’s not fully disabled friendly, but there are lifts available as it’s full of steps and steep slopes.

There is a lot of uphill walking in the hotel but after informing them before hand about my reduced mobility they gave us a room that reduced the uphill climb. The pool was very nice with plenty of sunbeds a bar and cafe and a baby pool. Staff were very nice and helpful. There is a free shuttle service to and from the local town area. The rooms could do with a refurb but all in all it was a cheap spur of the moment weeks holiday and we would go again.
