Modern looking, very clean and spacious rooms. Very convenient for Market, shopping district and old town area

We love hotell Mariposa because of the location, its cleanliness, kind staff and the excellent breakfast. You feel welcomed by everybody working there. We cannot wait to stay there again.

Great property in the heart of Málaga. This is my third stay here and it was exactly as the others - excellent. Great location to transport links, walkable to all parts of the city, great selection of nearby bars and restaurants. The property is clean, well maintained and the staff are friendly!

Service was amazing and they went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. They had drinks and snacks in the room with a message from the hotel. They also told us what the weather would be like during our stay and provided us with a hat and fan which was a great touch. There were lots of complimentary items in the room as well which added to the overall luxury of the hotel. The roof top bar is a firm favourite and was great to relax and really added to the overall experience.

Beautiful in the centre of Malaga with very friendly helpful staff. Very convenient for the town centre and port areas. We arrived from the airport by train / underground. Only 4 stops then a 5 minute walk from central station.

First off, the hotel staff deserves a special mention. They are incredibly polite, approachable, and always ready to assist with any request. Their professionalism made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we stepped in. The parking garage is a big plus, especially given the central location of the hotel. While it’s ideal for those who have cars, it’s worth noting that the garage is best suited for small cars. Larger vehicles might find it a bit tricky to navigate, but for those with compact cars, it’s an absolute luxury to have secure parking right in the heart of the city. The room itself was very comfortable, offering a perfect balance of modern amenities and cozy charm. It was well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The bathroom was exceptionally clean, and I was particularly impressed by all the necessary toiletries readily available. But perhaps the best part of La Mariposa is its location. Situated right by the port, the hotel is a stone’s throw away from a variety of restaurants, bars, clubs, and stores. Whether you're in the mood for a quiet dinner by the sea or a lively night out, everything is within easy reach, making it an ideal base for exploring Malaga. Overall, La Mariposa Hotel provided an outstanding experience. With its top-notch service, great amenities, and unbeatable location, I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Malaga.

Great location. 5 minute walk from centro train station, 10 minute walk from centre with all bars and restaurants. 10 minute walk to harbour and 20 minute walk to beach.

Excellent all round

We have stayed in Malaga many times. This was the worst hotel we have stayed in, in Malaga. The reception is ok. The lift carpet filthy. Shocked to see carpet in the bedroom which was stained and disgusting The aircon didn’t work properly- on a positive it is in a good location and the bedding and bed were comfy. We were staying for one night at the end of our travels. If we had been staying here longer we would have left.

Modern and perfectly located. Near everything. Nearby parking excellent for SUV’s and with discount. The staff is fantastic and they offered us clean beach towels. We had great time there.

I really liked the art work throughout the hotel. It was quite beautiful and situated on a street that tourists stroll down. There are restaurants nearby that are open quite late. The staff was friendly and the breakfast had a lot of variety.
