Molina Lario Hotel

This hotel was excellent. In the perfect location only 5-10 minute walk from the city train station and in the middle of Malaga city centre so surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars. The marina area and beach are also within 10 minute walking distance. The hotel itself is modern, the reception area was very clean. Reception staff were excellent and very friendly on check in and check out. The room we had was very spacious, very clean and had everything needed including some lovely toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion plus more) and a hairdryer which was an excellent hairdryer for a hotel. The room was always cleaned brilliantly each day. The location is the star of this hotel however the hotel itself is also fantastic. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Malaga, would most definitely stay again.

The location was the best!

For a hotel in the center of Malaga it lacks sound proofing. Even the apartments that you can rent are better. I would not recommend more than a weekend stay at this hotel as the cleanliness is questionable. They don’t provide water to the guests for free and they don’t bother replacing dirty water glasses with clean ones either!

This clean, modern, comfortable hotel is ideally located, with dining, entertainment, shopping, and the beach all within easy walking distance. The cathedral, Roman theater, and Picasso museum are five minutes away. We look forward to returning

A lovely hotel in a convenient area of malaga. The room was modern and spacious and have a wonderful balcony looking over a bustling street of bars and restaurants. The pool unfortunately is a bit of a let down, needs updating and is very small… the pictures look better than it is so it’s disappointing

Great hotel!

If there’s anything that could beat the convenient location, it would be the hotel’s overall aesthetics and the friendliness of the staff. The rooms are extremely well maintained and the roof top/pool bar has been revamped since the photos on here, making it a perfect spot to relax with a drink any time of day

The service from the front desk was impeccable! Every time we had a question or needed something, they were friendly, helpful, proactive and went above and beyond. 5 starts for the front desk! The rooms were small but nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The location is excellent. Easy to find, next to the cathedral. Within walking distance to everything.

Rooftop was amazing. Location was fantastic. Staff just weren’t the friendliest.

We just loved this place! The location is perfect, there are so many shops and great places to eat around. The rooftop pool is a must for those hot summer days. We will be back!

You are close to everything to visit or to eat (soooo many restaurants!). We ate at the hotel one night and we didn’t like it. Room was comfortable but we had to buy still water from the mini bar since we got only one bottle for two persons for two days!

It's not a 'budget' hotel but you certainly get what you pay for. The location is perfect, the hotel is very close to, well, everything in that area of Málaga. Taxi, one minute walk, bus one minute walk, Paseo de los Curas, two minutes, the main shopping area, two minutes walk, the Alcazaba, maybe that was three minutes walk! There's probably more restaurants within walking distance than you could explore eating five meals a day for six months! The hotel, well excellent probably covers it nicely. Room was large, clean, well furnished and had good views over the neighbourhood. The only negative thing I could possibly say is about the pool, which we did not plan to use anyway. We went to the rooftop bar which, given the weather and location was quite busy with a great atmosphere. But there's the pool, surrounded by all the bar guests. It's not a large pool but if you're going to use it you're well and truly going to be on 'public display' for all the other guests! If 'doing laps' in your hotel pool is important for you this probably isn't the best hotel for you. If you don't have the need to do pool laps this is absolutely the hotel you should be staying in when you visit Málaga!

The hotel was central to everything. Most important the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I wish I could remember the lady that checked us in. She was wonderful. Daniel was also extremely helpful with recommendations. Highly recommend staying at the Molina Lario hotel.

Excellent property, well situated at the south end of the Distrito Centro. After the terrific breakfast on site, then hang out at the rooftop pool looking out over the beautiful view, with a bar there to keep you hydrated :) If you do leave, quite convenient easy walk to anything you'd want including the beach and many, many, places to eat and drink. Professional staff are attentive, helpful, and keep the place spotless. Well worth choosing this hotel for your Malaga stay.

The property is conveniently located in the City Center and very close to the Cathedral. Sunsets on the pool terrace are wonderful. Lots of dining options behind the hotel. Get the breakfast in the morning in the hotel restaurant. I would stay here again.
