Booked the holiday at the last minute and wasnt sure what to expect having never been to a resort before. On arrival we found the rooms to be large comfortable and clean, and the resort to be beautiful and well catered. My kids especially enjoyed the kids club and loved the evening entertainment.

Loved this hotel, food excellent and freshly made in some cases in front of you, so much choice. Staff are so hardworking. Daily maid service, she was lovely and always made our room fresh and tidy. It is predominantly Germans so most of the songs in the show are German but they still do include English. Pools were great and had something for everyone in the different types. They don't allow people to reserve sun beds and take towels away if people do so plenty of beds available throughout the day. Room was spacious, bright and modern. Sofa bed was massive and all for us could fit on it so plenty of space for the children to sleep. The beach is lovely and only a 30 second walk from the hotel through a gate. 2 beds and an umbrella €14 a day. We were in block 5 near the reception, some of the pool view rooms especially on the ground floor you are very exposed to people walking past so we preferred being up and out of the way, more privacy. There is a supermarket directly opposite if you need anything. We went to the arcades a lot across the road and you could ride ponies also. There is a mini train you can ride for €14 for a family of 2 adults 2 children, it takes you up to Alcudia town which is very busy and what we realised is our Hotel was definitely the best one and in a quiet location. Definitely planning to go back again. Thank you to all at the Playa Garden Selection for making our holiday so wonderful.

Good amenities overall and lots of space on site. Swimming pools were very cold and many of sunshade umbrellas were broken. Disappointing we were unable to access the sun loungers and pool area on the sun deck

We had a ground floor room with a tub and garden which was lovely. Beds were comfy, housekeeping was good and cleaned every day. Everything we needed in the room with a supermarket opposite. Breakfast was nice but we didn't enjoy the evening meal at all and all struggled to choose something, we were half board but didnt go back in after night 3 which was a pain as very little choice of restaurants nearby (2), lucky we had a car. They were strange options, a lot of veal when chicken would have been a much better option. It all looked unapitising, especially the night with the baby suckling pig. My nephew hasnt stopped talking about his poor little face! 😔

Nice stay and friendly staff. Overall, I found the German guests rude, not friendly and would cut me off in line. Nice beach for swimming. Need to get there early to reserve an umbrella. One day they said I had to purchase a week and would not allow me to purchase by day $14. The next I was able to rent them by the day.

It has been a very lovely family holidays. Hotel is perfectly suitable for families with small children. Choice of different swimming pools, food was amazing, very clean apartments and staff helpful and approachable. I would definitely revisit this hotel.

Well - I normally keep these short but this time I can't - the positives; great rooms, close to beach, great pool Negatives - the staff do not work together well - we upgraded when we arrived for a 24 hour treat - we didn't get given a wrist band which meant that we had to present a receipt every time we left the pool to get a drink - this wasn't a big problem until the morning of day 1 (still within 24 hours of arriving) when 2 staff refused to serve us despite having 3 hours left at all inc - so I had to go to the front desk to ask them to confirm back to the pool. Secondly the food really is weak - few vegetarian options and its basically just cheap food in high quantities . finally the kids entertainment is v poor and hidden away - So all in all, not a patch on Viva Blue up the road which has worse rooms but everything else excels!! This place seems to have a gap between management and staff and no buzz about to it to make you feel like you on holiday - such a shame

The hotel is made up of multiple 2 story blocks centred around 2 large swimming pools and plenty of palm trees. The rooms were generous in size, were nicely furnished and very clean. The only downside we had with the hotel was the facilities available given we were self catering. There was no oven, no kettle, no toaster, no grill! Just a microwave, 2 electric Hobbs and a fridge. Back to the positives, the hotel was situated directly on the beach. There was a gate at the bottom of the complex which opened on to a 20-30 meter sandy path leading on to the beach. The hotel is located approx 5km down the bay from the Port of Alcudia, and sits between Alcudia and Can Picafort. This means it is a little quieter around the hotel but there is still multiple shops and bars to prevent you having to travel into town for food and drinks. Like us, if you go self catering, I'd recommend hiring a car for your stay to allow you to go a bit further afield for an evening meal. The best restaurants around are approx 2-3km from the hotel towards Alcudia.

We had a 6 day stay here in April 2016. Great value for money. Brilliant breakfast but too many sugary offerings to tempt the kids. Very spacious room and very comfortable. The staff are particularly helpful and friendly especially the reception staff. Local bus takes you to all the major towns which are well worth a visit.

Nice hotel. It is very geared up for German tourists. The entertainment is all German language (including kids clubs). The food is generally very good with a few extreme examples in the buffet that need avoiding (spicy boiled curried German sausages is a strange delicacy) but overall with enough variation to suite any palate. The all-inclusive drinks are waiter served but you can short cut this by going straight to the bar. Last week of October meant the hotel wasn't even half full. Staff very attentive. The room had a kitchenette was was useful (fridge, microwave and hob) but no kettle !

Stunning resort just a few steps from the beach. Nice option of the beach bar for lunch and by staying mote than 7 nights free dinner at the Italian or Steak house. Really good kids club. The bus stops right outside so very easy to get to Can Picaforte or Alcudia. The only negatives are that I spoke more German than Spanish and the Spa was disappointing. Booked a treatment which was good but there was no music or scented candles.

We had a great stay at the Playa Garden, booked last minute so expected a small room but the standard room we booked was actually a one bedroom apartment. The swimming pools are great, and the water isn't to cool. We went all inclusive but at this hotel you are restricted to times you can access food. Set times for each meal with very limited snacks at the pool bar in the afternoon. Some of which you have to pay for. If you are a Brit who likes to socialise with other Brits on holiday this is not the hotel for you. We were one of only two british families in the hotel. It caters mainly for Germans and Scandinavians. Having said that We had a great holiday and would stay at the hotel again. The kids mini disco every night was one of the highlights for our son. He absolutely loved it. The evening entertainment varied in quality but the team work very hard to keep everyone entertained.

We enjoyed the trip and thought the staff at the Hotel were very nice. The proximity to the beach was great and the Hotel was clean but a 4* rating is definately not appropriate compared to other Hotels we have stayed in. We thought it was a very nice 3* Hotel.
