This is one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. There is a metro station just across the street so very easy to move around the city. A couple of supermarkets just down the block for whatever you may need. The hostel has a kitchen with plenty of fridge space for guests. Very clean and comfortable environment. Last but not least, the incredible staff that make your stay as good as possible. If I’m ever back in Madrid, I’m definitely booking my stay here again.

The room was clean and the staff great. I'm not giving 5 stars because: 1) The room lacked proper ventilation. This is nothing major can easily be fixed by opening the windows. 2) The bed was very noise. The problem is that even though the frame is metallic, the bottom of the beds are made of wood, and the moment you slightly move, the bed makes a lot of noise. 3) The kitchen is functional, but small

Only a few minutes walk from Sol and Plaza Major, and there is a metro station 50m away. Bed is spacious with privacy curtain, there is a huge underbed storage so bring your own padlock. One pet hate is that girls keep using the men's bathroom & toilet so thanks for the long hair and makeup powder in and around the sink(they don't even know how to clean after it), not sure if it's the not so visible signage? But imagine if the boys enter a women's toilet!

Way Hostel is by far the most friendly, sociable and fun hostel I’ve been to. The fun and talkative atmosphere is contagious but if you want to have some down/quiet time then the living room is great for this too. The staff are inviting and helpful and speak loads of different languages. The activities the hostel holds are a great way to get to know Madrid and other people in the hostel. I’d love to go back!

Perfect location, easily to get to attractions! During the visit, hotel was under construction, so that you can smell the paint and feel dusty floor. Room was clean but bathroom can be more clean. They did provided 24h front desk and what's app number if there is any issue with the bathroom cleanliness, but for me, it was acceptable and do not need someone to clean right away. Staff were semi-friendly depends on the person. Didn't get greetings nor acknowledgment, not even a look when I was trying to check-in. I was just stood there to wait until the staff, he was too busy to talk to this girl about her plan for nights of her stays. He definitely saw me because he opens the door for me. Other staff like Patricia, were nice and provided the local way to visit Toledo instead of private organized tour.

It is a very convenient hostel to stay in. It is in the heart of Madrid. The train station is a block away. Cheap supermarkets nearby and all the top attractions within 20 mins walking distance. During the weekends, Spaniards like to party and tourists so you may not sleep well into the night. You may experience drunk people coming into the room around 3 or 4am. Otherwise, everything is clean and very safe. Free walking tours is offered and sangria every night for 3 euros!!! I enjoyed my stay. You will not regret choosing this amazing hostel.

I’ve stayed here twice now, it’s very clean and in a great location. The only issue is there are a lot of bars and restaurants nearby and since the Spanish like to party, it can be quite loud until pretty late. Also tends to be more of a young party crowd staying at the hostel anyway. So it’s a great place to stay if you are a heavy sleeper or like to party, but if you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is probably not for you.

Lovely hostel with very friendly and helpful staff. The Wednesday evening home cooked Paella dinner was very low cost and yummy. Staff helped with area information about shops, restaurants, and activities. The daily "free" guided walking toor promoted at Way was a good and informative tour. Beds are comfortable and rooms are cleaned daily. Free coffee, tea, and Churros every morning helped get me going each day. Way is located next to the subway station and close to the middle of town, within walking distance from all attractions. The only, minor, drawback was the noise coming off the street. I highly recommend Way as my place of choice to stay when visiting Madrid.
