The place is not clean as shown in the images. It was hard to find the entrance as it was not visible as a hotel or motel. There were several dirty blotches on the bedsheets and they seems not clean. Only 3 pillows were there for the entire queen bed. Wifi was extremely slow. Washroom were not clean specially the commode was not clean. Due to these reasons I had to check out from the Room immediately after Checked in, even though they refused to cansel the booking which I reserved the room for 3days.

It was nice and comfortable stay at Clock Inn. All the people in the staff were youngsters and very cooperative and always ready to help with a smile. Great value for the money.

I entered this place and was hit by a cloud of flies on the first floor. Flies up the steps. The bunks had no curtains, and, like many hostels no one has the courtesy to keep the light of after 10PM. No code lock on dorm room. AC blasting. Couldn't turn it off it down. Showers did look reasonably spacious but the bathrooms were messy. Smell of rotting food in the hallway. It was coming from a maintenance closet where someone hid a few small dirty dishes. The dorm room, bunk and linen were clean. Staff response time was very good. Staff were professional and courteous. Free breakfast was better than nothing and the eating area was cozy but nice. However there were flies all over the fruit and the tables. Flies inside containers with the bread. I checked out early. Also no elevator. Big staircases. It was cleaner than other hostels of the same price but far less privacy plus all the flies. This was my 7th hostel.

A value-for-money accomodation in the heart of Colombo. Excellent continental breakfast. The staff are very friendly, they even changed money at a rate better than most exchange services!

Convenient location at the heart of Columbo with a lot of dining options nearby. Rooms were reasonably clean and comfortable, but basic.

Reception area is on the first floor and no lift. Bed frames are old. Room and toilet need renovation

TV subscription was not paid. no arrangement of food in near the hotel.

After arriving at 0430 and finding I’d made a mistake with our booking, the night receptionist was more than accommodating and sorted us out with an early check out. Breakfast was delicious and 24/7 coffee and tea was the icing on the cake. The hotel is comfortable, affordable and in a great location to explore all of Colombo. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Had a terrible time as was bitten by bed bugs and even spotted a few and so can say please avoid this property. Yes the property is dated and serious needs some upgrades in terms of furniture. Only one towel - no face / hand towels Breakfast is basic water melon for fruits, Cornflakes, egg omlate bread with butter / Jam and tea coffee just basic .... Many better and new options in this area available but somehow I saw earlier revies and booked this property and regretted it. May be a good option for backpackers and dorm users but not for someone looking for some basic comforts Don't expect anything great here Since the room was already paid for and it was raining heavily that night else i would have seriously moved out in the middle of the night...

My experience was short checking late at night but comfortable and friendly, one night stay. Basic,clean,neat room with air conditioning and fresh linen. Simply breakfast and friendly helpful staff. Located on main road, one street from the ocean,easy to get transport. Illuminated galaxy painted foyer/staircase which created a funky glow at night:)

Reception personnel was not friendly and the condition of the reception area was pretty bad. Chairs were broken and everything looks dirty. Room was just ok but breakfast was not good
