Excellent breakfast and great dinner options; warm and friendly staff; clean rooms and easy access to many shops and restaurants on Galle Road and Colombo Rd; easy to get a tuk tuk ride anywhere; daily housekeeping and fast laundry service; overall great value for the price

very clean and extremely friendly knowledgeable staff. Staff name Siva is the one stand above everyone in that hotel. if you need anything to be done in this hotel, he is the Man you need to see. THE Crab curry is out of the world. please go and see SIVA and stay at the Fair View hotel. thanks.

Clean and big room.
It has only one negative character that 's a little far from colombo 's tourists attraction.
And a big problem is give you only one small bottle of water for one day!!! If you want more you must pay it!!!

Overall really good. Rooms & bathrooms are in good condition, shower needed upgrading, modern, felt comfortable. Restaurant staff more concerned about clearing things away than serving you which is disconcerting but good tasty food.
