Goteborgs Mini-Hotel - Hostel

Basically clean and saw staff consistently doing the cleaning. Have supermarket in 3-minutes walk. Also, convenient location, 5-minute walk to tram which gets you to the city center in 5 minutes.

Very comfortable stay and the staff were covert friendly. The beds were also surprisingly comfy. I would stay here again.

The property was basic and uncomfortable felt something between a nursing home and a rehab facility.. The room was spacious but poorly designed. Guests apparently have to make there own beds as lines are just left out. My room had 2 shabby and uncomfortable single bed mattress and 2 stupid lights stationed on the headboard which I kept hitting everytime i turned over in my sleep unless you practically hug the cold bloody wall Or move the beds The pillows were lumpy which just added to my discomfort.. and the noise bleeding relentless coming from practically all sides as paper thin walls And if that doesn't drive you insane there is a nursery play park beneath your windows so you get to listen to all the native feral children at stupid o'clock in the morning when your trying to sleep At multiple times during my stay i was disturbed by other guests either trying my room door handle apparently by mistake which was suspicious or trying to walk into the communal toilet and shower while i was using them thankfully the door locks worked but still annoying as hell. Doesn't give you a safe vibe and was hesitant to leave anything of valve in my room.. I wouldn't recommend this property as its cheap and in a reasonable location but not somewhere you'd want to be stuck inside on a rain soaking weekend trip if you value your sanity

Kitchen has what you need to make a budget meal. Good facilities.

Place is a really good option.

Staff are only available for limited hours so you are given strong warnings to make sure you have your key card or you won't be able to get in. My bed was an uncomfortable and squeaky metal bed with a thin mattress. It was noisy in the streets outside until 3 in the morning on weekend nights. The location is good, with restaurants and bars nearby. You can walk to the town centre in 20-30 minutes, and the Haga district is a few minutes away. There is also a tram stop a block away. Overall it's not bad for the price

This place is definitely a hostel not a hotel, but if you are on a budget in Gothenburg it is okay. Self check-in. Comfortable bed. Fairly well soundproofed. Okay shared toilets and showers.

Very good value for money, receptionist was lovely and check in was easy - everything was explained clearly and we had no issues during the stay. The room was perfectly good for 3 nights - had a small fridge/freezer and beds and storage, not much else in the room and wasn't massive or anything but that was expected. Communal kitchen was very clean with good working facilities - no toaster though! There were plenty communal bathrooms and showers which were also nice and clean. Wifi worked well. Room was good temperature. Windows could open slightly. Very quiet and soundproof walls. Beds were comfortable enough for 3 nights but nothing special. Overall very good value for money! Obviously not fancy but perfectly good for us for 3 nights.

There were some pretty loud ambient noises happening occasionally that made it harder to fall asleep but otherwise very good.

Silver fish in the bathroom, loud doors when open and closing and not the most clean bathrooms. Rooms very comfy.

On arrival we were locked outside, noone at reception, noone responding to calls, emails etc. Only got in the front door because of another guest. Sheets clean but mould stained, dirty sock under bed with the dirt. Room felt secure and safe, the location was great. Its a shame because this coulf be a great little place to stay with more staff and cleaning.

Quiet, clean Hostel, in very good location for all bus and tram routes.

Great price & facilities, in a lovely little area, easy to walk or get the tram into town. Bathrooms clean & restocked always. Would 100% recommend.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The place was incredibly clean and in an amazing location, with many different types of restaurants and bars right around the corner walking.

Check in guy was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately there was no hot water in the property when I arrived but when I asked reception they didn't know what's going on. I had to reach out to hotels.com for a complaint and relocation request, in which hotels.com didn't help at all. After reaching out to reception again, someone else (possibly more senior) explained to me that there were some works in the pipes and that they have expected to have hot water by that time, and she went to check what's going on. So despite my original frustration, the staff was perfect overall and after her checking up on the situation, hot water returned to the property (not sure if she did something or it was just coincidence, but at least she made an effort). The hostel is very clean, renovated and there are many bathrooms and adequate number of showers, it didn't feel inconvenient at any point. The beds were comfortable - could do with a thicker pillow and bigger duvet but overall good and felt safe. Location was also very central and easy to go anywhere on foot. You are asked to make your own bed as you check in, but that's a minor inconvenience as the price is far cheaper than most accommodations nearby.

Toilets need to be cleaned more regularly by end of the day it stinks

Fair price, clean room and bathroom as well, i like the bathroom with plenty of space, will not be like a mess after shower, staff are nice, location great, nothing to complain about
