Hotel Hötorget

Room was not larg8e, no mirror in room, single electric socket either side of beds used by bedside lights, one of which had no bulb.. spare sockets over table opposite beds. Clothes storage by vertical hangers or two small drawes. Shower/wetroom quite small with no with no extractor fan.

++ Great location! Amazing breakfast! Comfy bed and pillows! Clean and spacious rooms. - - what’s with the heavy doors? Guests keep slamming them 24/7. No fans, air con or heater in rooms, I tried to adjust the element heater but it didn’t work.

Lovely hotel with an excellent breakfast. Close to the metro station friendly staff.

My first impression when I see the hotel was, is it a building site, but I guess there is some renovation going on. Reception was friendly, the room clean, but very small, as was the bathroom and I was told I had a slight upgrade for free! Breakfast was really nice, down in the basement. The hotel was in a convenient and quiet location a short walk from Central Station.

Day 3 found silverfish in bathroom along with hair balls. Had to change room. Disgusting

We stayed at Hotel Hoterget in the Standard Queen Room and was quite disappointed. The room was located below street level, with a small window at the ceiling that offered no real view or fresh air—definitely not what I expected. It felt claustrophobic, and there were constant noises from the street above, including people throwing trash or making loud conversations right outside. The lack of an outward-facing window made the room feel more like a basement than a hotel room. That said, the hotel’s location is excellent—very central and close to public transport. The breakfast was also surprisingly good, with a variety of options and fresh ingredients. Unfortunately, the room quality really took away from the experience.

I like properties with character

Decent breakfast. A bit far from waterfront conference center. The building is old and has some construction working going on. Service was fine for the price. Room was super basic and small.

This was a brilliant hotel right in the center of Stockholm, with good transport links. Breakfast was lovely and rooms spacious

It was nice comfort room and 15 minutes walk distance to central. It is great weekend away to visit Stockholm

Looks may be deceiving. Better than what I expected. Clean, safe and comfortable stay. Decent breakfast. Centrally located. Well informed support staff at the reception. I would surely again.

Nice place to stay with a family on a budget. Good breakfast provided with lots of variety.

Lovely, very old unique property, clean and tidy, and very handy walking distance to all we need

Location was great and so was service but rooms were hot, paint was peeling, road noise (early morning garbage pick up) made sleep impossible. Socks from last guest were in our room.

Great location, we walked pretty much everwhere when sightseeing.

We only had 2 nights but after a long flight we were very happy for a great place to sleep. We had 4 including 2 teenagers and finding a room for 4 was though. The breakfast was great. Only issue was the the trash truck drive down the alley starting at 3. But I sleep through it my husband did not. However not something the hotel could change soay ask for a room at the front of this would be a problem for you.

Nice hotel, perfect for a few days. Easy access to the rest of Stockholm and close the central train station.

Hotel Hotorget offered everything we needed while in Stockholm, including a fabulous breakfast!

This hotel is very run-down. Chipped paint, chipped furniture, worn rugs. Looks very dilapidated and not kept up. That said, my very tiny room and tinier bathroom (which got water over the entire room during a shower because there is no curtain) was cozy warm with a tall window and comfy bed. Breakfast was in a root cellar kind of basement room but was adequate. The elevator has not been fixed for a long time and the stairs were formidable - 75 steps to get to the 3rd floor. Location was good.
