Good location and the best breakfast I am having in Switzerland. You can take photos of Matterhorn mountain easily from the room if you book the room with view. The only disappointed thing is that my room view of mountain is actually blocked by some of the houses and cannot see the full view from the room which is unexpected. And be aware that you have to prepare some CHF cash as it is the only hotel that request me to pay city taxes by cash (all can be paid by credit card in other hotels).

I loved this hotel. The rooms were large and clean. The breakfast in the morning was great. Hôtel is in a great location right by the river where you can easily see the Matterhorn.

We loved everything about our 2-night stay at Hotel Antika! We had two rooms (one for us and for our adult daughters) and both had gorgeous views of the Matterhorn. The hotel is charming in its simple mountain elegance. The beds were comfortable (two twins pushed together with night stands on either side). Everything was clean and designed to make guests feel at home. We appreciated the large bottle of still water and coffee supplies in the room, ample closet and drawer space for our needs, and bathroom with many shelves under the sink. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choices for everyone. The cappuccino from the coffee machine was excellent. In the basement, there is a lovely area for taking in a sauna or steam room after a day of hiking. Natural light enters through a skylight. There are infrared chairs and foot baths. The hotel is perfectly located near shops, groceries, and the train station in Zermatt. We are staying in many hotels throughout Switzerland and this was our favorite. We will definitely stay here again next time!

What an amazing vacation. Hotel Antika is snuggled away in a convenient location in Zermatt. Just off the Main Street but still centrally located to restaurants and bars. The hotel has a ski entrance and storage area for all your equipment and the bus to Matterhorn Mountain Glacier is right outside the rear entrance. Picture perfect views of the Matterhorn and a little bar for an apres ski drink. Would highly recommend and would stay there again.
