The hotel was very nice. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood. Reception is closed early Saturdays and all day Sunday, so make sure to send questions/request in advance during this hours. Otherwise check in was no trouble (key in safety box ) Public transportation was very close and easy to navigate.

Ich kam an und alles war verschlossen. Der Telefonservice war sehr nett. Das Haus war verlassen, der Gemeinschaftsraum muffig und verlassen, mein Zimmer dunkel und stickig. Alles in allem einfach eher wie ein einfaches Zimmer in einem einfachen Seminarhaus mit entsprechenden Preisen.

Good friendly communication before arriving. We didn't see any staff on site as we arrived late on a Saturday and only stayed the one night and checked out early, but we had no issues using a code to collect our key and locating our room. I was very impressed with the room, it was a good size, quiet so we slept well, very clean, great shower, everything we needed in the room (kettle, coffee/tea, hairdryer, bottled water, information etc). The location was perfect for us, we were running the half marathon, and it was easy to park at the hotel, stay the night, get up early and take the tram directly into Basel centre, the tram stop is only a 2 minute walk away from the hotel, and it was easy to get the number 14 tram directly into the city center in only 15 minutes.

Hotel was nice and clean, but check-in was awkward as the main reception closes at 7pm everyday and my flight landed at 10.30pm. Although retrieving the room keys was simple enough as they had emailed me this information prior to arrival, it took me a good 20 minutes to find my room due to not so good signage. The hotel is like a campus, so has separate buildings for the main reception, conference rooms and the hotel rooms. I eventually found the room, but as no one was around, at one point I thought I may end up spending the night on a park bench! Otherwise good service and location.

Very clean location

The staff are excellent and could not be more helpful. Needed an iron but instead the cleaner ironed my shirts at no cosf. Great breakfast. Only thing is the rooms could be a bit more modern - TV had no English channels and was small. Overall a very good stay.

Quiet place-clean and comfortable.easilly accessible offering a means of transfer pass during the stay. Good Internet and overall impression.

We were not informed at time of booking that receiption and Restaurnt will be closed on Weekends. It was challenging and unsafe to clean milk bottles for a 3 year old kid without adequate waning soap at room. Due to closed restaurants, we ended up having sandwiches for breakfast and meals. Quite disappointing...

After 7pm there is absolutely NO staff around! Check in was 'automatic'... Put your code into a machine and your room key is produced. You let yourself into the hotel and have to find your own room and hope everything is ok. Which for us it was, although extra pillows would have been beneficial, there was no-one to ask for these items. Even the grass was being cut cut by an automatic lawn mower, that even parked itself when finished! If you want an evening meal, book it in advanced otherwise the restaurant is only open for breakfast (7-9am) and lunch (12-1.30pm) but no restaurant on a Sunday! McDonald's is only 1 mile away! The room was clean and of reasonable size and was comfortable. The bathroom was immaculate, though didn't have a bath (not a problem). We only needed somewhere to sleep en route and this hotel served its purpose. A free travel pass for public transport was provided for the next day which would have been useful if we weren't moving on the next day.

Struggled to sleep due to lack of air conditioning but the room was lovely and bed was comfortable.

Its a nice place, fairly modern, just out from the city. Good tram link just 5mins walk away. However if your expecting a hotel with normal hotels services you may be disappointed. Its is a confernace facilty with rooms and not really a full hotel. For example should you arrive after 7pm reception will be closed, I wasn't aware of this until I had arrived luckily just before 7pm. There isn't any evening meals unless your luckily. There is a small gym. good tv and channel inc UK channels, good internet.

very good hotel in nice grounds and very modern and quiet area with good facilities and restaurant and breakfast room. there was even a small gym. local tram stop was very close and frequent service to the city centre which took 15-20 minutes. overall good value as well and the staff were very friendly. also there were conference facilities here as well. i would recommend this hotel, if you don't mind not being in the city centre, it is also ideal for the football stadium as only one stop on the tram.
