Accessing the property is difficult. Street parking is very hard to find, and the road design in Locarno makes it harder to navigate. The rooms also have no AC. It can be very loud at night to open the windows because it’s at the plaza.

The staff were friendly, and it was very central. This is 3 star so some of the amenities were a bit basic (uncomfortable bed but good pillows). Things that could have helped were chairs for the balcony, stronger overhead light bulb in the main room, toaster at breakfast). Convenient for one night.

Location is excellent, right on La Plaza Grande. However, this is a bare-minimum hotel. The bathroom sink had cracks, the decor was old and unattractive, and there was no kettle to make tea or coffee and no fridge.

Clean room with a little balcony. Was overlooking the bar so got quite loud and we had to keep the balcony open in the night due to no air conditioning so it was noisy. However, friendly staff and lovely hotel near a coop and very walkable to the town centre.

Location of the hotel is by Piazza Grande. Our room was not part of the hotel but more like an apartment across. The room was big but dark and tired looking. Was not a welcoming look. Not enough socket points for charging our phones and none by the bedside. Slight overpriced in my opinion.

This hotel is very conveniently located near the center of town, the Piazza Costello. As an older property it has a definite charm with a pink theme with cherubs. Dinner in the restaurant was very good: the beef entrecôte was perfectly cooked medium rare, and my companions pork cordon bleu was good. The waitress was very genuine, and recommended an excellent wine for us. The room was comfortable and clean.

From 5 to 7 a.m. someone knocked permanently on doors
At 6 a.m. someone even knocked on my door and tried to enter my room. Good thing I locked the door.
