Reviews and photos led to disappointment. They are deceptive. It is more like a clean 2 star hotel that smells like cigarettes in the rooms and lobby than a 3 star.

Staff was friendly and as helpful as possible given language barrier. Very clean property. Breakfast was reasonable price but the food and coffee are not replenished so if you arrive toward the end of the service time, you only get what is left, which was not much. The best feature is the river that is within walking distance. Very nice ... otherwise, not a tourist area. VERY close to bus stop. Again, language barrier was an issue but the driver was friendly and kind. There is a coffee shop just beyond the bus kiosk and the owner was very nice and helpful.

It’s a good place to stay specially if you’re traveling with family only thing that’s holding me from giving a five star review is the air-conditioning. It’s just not good as it should be and they keep making an excuse that governmental requirement with the temperature in the room cannot be below than 3° of outside, I hope they can get their AC fixed or provide an alternative such as fan besides that it’s a very good place to stay

We booked this hotel specifically because itvhad a restaurant and bar. They were both closed during our stay.
The other reason we chose this hotel was for air conditioning, it barely cooled the room at all it was very hot. We would not recommend.

The room was really hot so I asked the front desk if it was broken. He came up and looked at it and said that the government wouldn’t let guests cool the room more than 10° less than the outside temperature. Fine. We set it as low as it would go thinking it would keep up with falling temperatures during the night. We woke up in the morning after being hot and uncomfortable all night and walked outside to a cool morning.
What he said may be true but things didn’t work that way for us during the night.
He left us feeling as though we shouldn’t be asking for such things. As though we are spoiled Americans.
I feel like what we were asking for was nothing unusual and would have been a no brainer in most civilized countries around the world. Climate control is not new technology.
I don’t think the A/C was working the way it was supposed to work and I don’t think he really cared.
