A very nice, clean and modern room with complimentary water and wifi. Air conditioning would have been of benefit and possibly expected; but the property, the staff, location and more so the room, were excellent and good value for money. I will certainly use this accommodation again.

I stayed at the plaza for two nights and honestly I wish I could of stayed longer. It was great! I love the town and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I arrived early and I was able to check in early and get a room with no hassle. The only thing I would suggest is maybe have space heater in the rooms it was a bit cold in the night. But other than that. I would come back here and stay again :)

The hotel is in the old town of Winterthur. Very convenient for dining and close to the train station. The room has a Nepresso machine and a refrigerator. Can’t ask more for the price.

Room stank of smoke, floor was completely filthy, bedding thin and pillows smelled old. Wallpaper missing in places and it was placed right by a huge main road. Barely slept. Bathroom seemed ok but shower leaked all over the floor. Very basic amenities. Seems very barely attended, nobody there kid morning when I left. Also charged me 23 sfr to park the car. In addition I think it’s being used as a brothel. Very unsavoury gentleman waiting outside and a very glamorous young woman went down in the lift to meet him. All in all about my worst hotel in years.

Unpleasant smell of food from the restaurant below, superficial room cleaning, faulty shower head, no air conditioning, street noise, staff very often absent from the reception, cleaning items left in the elevator. On the other hand, the hotel has a good location, but I won't be going back.

We booked a “junior suite” which was described on the listing as having a “king bed”. When. We arrived we were given a basic room, and when we enquired at reception we were met with confusion - either the room didn’t exist or it had been given elsewhere

Overall, it's ok. The room was clean, and they were coming every day to ask if they need to clean anything and empty the bin. The room where I was just above some kind of workers who were very noisy during the day, but during the night was everything fine. Internet connection was ok. The fridge bar was empty and they told me that's because of covid, so they let guests put their own stuff there, which is also ok. The biggest issue I had was that when I came to do checkin, was Sunday and nobody was there so I had to use the auto checkin option with machine. That machine was asking me to pay for the hotel costs, even though I already paid them through Expedia. I had no option than to pay, because machine didn't want to complete the process before I pay. So, it was a little bit unplanned costs for me and if I didn't have money to pay it, I would probably need to sleep on the street. :-) They were very quick to refund me this amount, so no worries for that. When I was leaving, another guy had an issue with the machine as well, he was a Swiss citizen and he was confused with something. Overall, it's good to come during the regular hours if you plan to do checkin. Overall, a good place to stay, nothing really to complain.

Facility is responsible for rooms and people in the rooms. Reception was unmanned whole weekend. Who should be contacted in case some problem occurred? Problem was a human kind-noisy neighbours:music, sex, talks. Why I need witnessing all this happenings?

Hotel is in a good position easy enough to find. Auto check in which isn't great. No breakfast was being served. My room on the road side of the hotel was unbearably warm for all of the 4 nights i was there even with the window open.. which in itself isn't ideal because there is a lot of late noise from the bar downstairs and the rock club next door. The addition of air conditioning to the rooms would dramatically improve the appeal of this hotel

Highly efficient hotel in the center of town where shopping stores and restaurants are all within walking distance. Public transportations are also highly accessible and efficient. Efficiency, convenience, cleanliness and affordability are the main selling points, but travelers should remember that this is not a luxury hotel.
