I stayed for one week. The staff was really friendly, and they have an adorable dog at reception. Overall, it was a good stay. The hostel is near everything, so that's very convenient. The only negative thing is that the showers are in the basement, and you have to go through the reception to access them.

Super nice and safe area. Really close to MRT longshan temple station, 10 min max to commending night market/25 mins to Shilin night market!

Great value at this hostel. It has a nice hang out area in the basement. Beds are comfy with privacy blinds and USB-C charging on top of a plug. My only wish would be that I didn’t have to go through the lobby to get to the showers.

We checked in late at night, but the service we had from both staff weren't very helpful at all.
The room space is small, and the toilets are not clean.
It has a large common room but it has a strange smell
In general it hasn't been a very comfortable experience

Front desk staff was pretty incompetent when checking me in.
Room was cramped and the showers are far from the rooms.
This place would be OK for a one night stay but I wouldn't recommend staying longer. Just my opinion.

i have request late checked in, then the properties has told will provide the entrance pin number. But until the checked in date i also didn't get respond from them. So when i board to flight i just get the hostel inform that they need charged my card b4 they release the entrance pin number. And the credit card provide early got problem. i just wonder if the procedure like that, they should informed me early and tried the payment few days b4 my flight to avoid the incident happen. i was disappointing on the whole arrangement and found the staff is not friendly to me.
Beside that, the location of the hostel is good and nearby got many food stall and only 200m walking distance to metro station.
Room are cozy and the storage area is not suitable for medium and big size lugagge.

The conditions were a bit lacking. The bathroom in the B Section was absolutely disgusting. The shower in the main part was so much cleaner. I have not seen the A section rooms, but B section was not something I would recommend or stay again. The bed was okay, but the walls were dirty. The room divider was also more of a window blind and did nothing to actually section off a bed. Good common area. Overall, I would not recommend it, but the staff was VERY nice.

It was a family trip and our stay at Duckstay Hotels was fine. It was an accessible location and easy to go around Taipei.
I recommend it for those who don't mind sharing a room with other guests.

The location is pretty good for traveler without a car. It's close to the MRT stn exit 3.
Shered toilet and shower room but they're separated so quite happy with this. I've traveled some countries and sometimes i saw a shower with a toilet. I don't like it because when you go toilet the seat is wet and you don't feel good. in that point I like this hotel.
I stayed shared room with8 and it was bunk bed but it was built in bed so i didn't feel any noise or vibration from upfloor. It was excellent.
All of the receptionist were nice and kind.

Bathroom is far away from the bedroom and washroom. We need to across the main lobby and stairs to bathroom and they didnt keep the lights on for traveller maybe due to energy saving but I think it's kinda unsafe to walk in dark moreover the bathroom is far away from bedroom. Washroom for male and female is not really separated. Not sure how they secure single female travellers. Other than that the facility is good and complete. The staffs are friendly and helpful.
