Miller Home Stay

Very enjoyable stay on the Yidashao side of Sun Moon Lake. I had a room with no windows, but it was comfortable and well configured. The breakfast was pre-prepared for me with a wide variety of items (coffee, juice, congee, tofu, fruit, chicken nuggets, fries, salad, fried egg and smoked fish) it was like breakfast and lunch combined! There is limited staff present in the hotel during off hours though l, so don't expect to be able to check in early. Yidashao is a great little town with tons of restaurants and shops, but everything closes by about 7pm.

Amazing stay!

房間乾淨，設備都很新，提供的早餐也很好吃 離伊達邵碼頭跟商店街都很近，值得再訪!

The room is spacious, clean and located at strategic location. Near to the night walking street and pier station. The reception service is great, friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered is good portion and presentable.

Good location

I stayed for one night. The property was clean and even though they provide a zapper and traps for insects, I didn't need it (third floor). The only con is that the room design is a bit dated. The bathrooms seem fine other than the door not shutting completely.

Excellent location just one street away from Ita Thao Old Street. Clean room, comfortable bed. They have filtered water in the room so it was very convenient. Breakfast wasn't particularly delicious but it was a good option as this was not in the large Taiwanese cities like Taipei or Taichung, where street breakfast was aplenty.

The owners of the hotel were very, very kind and helpful. I have traveled all over the world and have never experienced such a genuine warmth and consideration.

A very good stay.

Great location. Short walk from the pier and on a quiet street next of the street food area. Bed and pillows are comfy. Limited international channels on the TV. Breakfast was basic but good. Room a bit small though. A bit pricy I think. Overall a great place to stay.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Just like being in your own home. Breakfast was local dishes with a euro twist, for example, omelette type egg with local fruits and excellent. Handy for the local railway station and on to the areas sites. Owner very helpful taking us to and from the station and arranging for us to purchase travel cards to use on the railways, buses and metros throughout Taiwan.

Good service from the warm hosts. Facilities are also well maintained.

Loved our stay here, great staff and comfortable. Short walk from boat, but found bus service better to use, espevially when heding back to the other side of the lake.

The Miller Home Stay was a very comfortable hotel. Our room was large with a lovely view over the courtyard. We enjoyed clean linens, a quiet environment and a wonderful shower and bathroom...lots of hot water. Breakfast was a hot choice of either Chinese or North American....quite tasty. The location was perfect for us...much quieter than the other side of the lake but still access to vendors, food and activities. The bike path is beautifully built as the Ropeway. We would be happy to return again some day. Thank you to the vey helpful staff.

This room was by far the largest room I stayed in during my trip. The beds were soft and comfortable, and the bathroom had both a shower and a tub. Everything was clean and modern. Unexpectedly, my favorite part was breakfast! We had a choice of American or Chinese cuisine and picked a time when we checked in. There was a designated dining area on the 5th floor. We all picked Chinese and it was plentiful and so delicious! All the food was local and organic. There was also soup, fresh orange juice, coffee, and milk tea. This place is easy to locate and the front desk is open late. We purchased our boat tickets from them in the morning, and they offered to hold our luggage until we needed to leave. The staff was truly wonderful!

The location was perfect as it is in the area of the food stalls and near the boat ride, and a good hike towards the ropeway. The hotel is clean and the staff in the reception was very friendly and accomodating. The only setback was I booked and paid for 4 adults and 1 child (age 12) for one big family room, but still ended up paying additional for one extra bed which according to them is due to inaccurate booking info given to them.

地理位置佳，早餐不錯

Wir hatten das große Familienzimmer. Das kostet zwar ein bischen mehr, aber ein fensterloses Zimmer etc. wollten wir auf keinen Fall! Das Zimmer war sehr komfortabel und modern ausgestattet, ebenso das Badezimmer. Preis-Leistung für den Sonne-Mond-See hervorragend! Auch das Personal sehr freundlich. Wir wollten noch eine zweite Bettdecke, die eigentlich kostenpflichtig gewesen wäre, haben wir kostenlos erhalten! Beim Frühstück gibt es kein Buffet sondern alles serviert, aber in einer sehr guten Qualität, z. B. mit echtem Orangensaft (nicht aus der Chemiefabrik!). Ebenso die anderen Gerichte wie Rührei, Würstchen und die Nudeln geschmacklich sehr gut. Das Frühstück wird auf die Minute pünktlich zum vereinbarten Zeitpunkt auf den Tisch gestellt. Kann hier nur jedem empfehlen das Miller Resort zu buchen, der den teilweise Wahnsinnspreise am Sonne-Mond-See entkommen will. Hier bekommt man Qualität für sein Geld.
