A quiet hotel in a bustling area. The room was large and the beds comfortable. I don't recommend carpet in Taiwan; it smelled a bit musty.

Not a bad room and not too far from Airport but def not a 4-star hotel. I’d call this a 3 star place that’s seen better days. The place smells heavily of cigarette smoke - it may list as smoke-free but at some point allowed smokers and it is apparent. The bright spot was the service. Super nice guy at desk didn’t speak great English but went above and beyond to get us checked in and order a taxi. Overall, an okay stay for a night if you are on layover in Taiwan or need to be close to airport. An airport taxi will run you about $600 NT ($20 usd) and take 15 minutes.

There was a strong smell of smoke in the room. Management offered us a second room but upon investigating, we were given greater concern by the mould in the shower. In fact there was also mould in the first room but not as much. So we stayed in the original room, and used a product we carry called Nilodor for such odour emergencies and this helped. The bed was very comfortable, though the sheets were torn. Clearly, in the last 20 years or so, some attempt had been made to make the hotel nice, but it hasn’t been maintained. The rooms need thorough cleaning and maintenance. Breakfast was reasonable but overall we wouldn’t choose to stay there again.

The staff was very nice. The room was a good size. The TV did have a few English stations. I got to the hotel fairly late. I was very happy with the guy they sent to pick me up. I would say the price was a little higher than expected because of the fees - I was expecting about $20 less for the night.

In fact, it was the dirtiest hotel bathroom I had ever seen. The rest of the room was okay, but in the morning, I looked outside the window and noticed that the view outside and the window itself was disgusting.
