Great pool

Great resort. Really enjoyed the swim out pool room. Property and staff were great. The only disappointment was the private beach.

Very quiet location

Lovely room in a large resort. We chose the beachfront bungalow, which had a nice view of the sea and sunset. The resort itself is not on the beach, and it is a bit of a wslk to access long beach. We stayed in low season and resort was very quiet with few guests

CLean enough, very empty. Only one in the hotel which made it kinda nice. Good room for the money

We enjoyed our stay at Ayara villas. We had a pool access room that looked over one of three pools. The room was very good - plenty of space and a comfortable bed, with sun lounges on our terrace. The resort was very quiet (low season). Breakfast was basic, but pretty good. The on-site restaurant (Flying Pig) had a great outlook over the beach to watch waves crashing into the sea wall. A short walk of about 150metres to a long sandy beach, and a fairly long walk 800 metres plus to "town" for excellent market and numerous restaurants.

Such a nice place to stay we enjoyed it so much we booked for 3 more nights, the staff are welcoming and friendly going that bit further to help you , with any request you may have . We will be back next year . Thank you

On arrival we were given a warm friendly welcome, we arrived an hour before check in time, however they were more than happy to allow us to check in and showed us to our room . Everything was explained to us . You can book tours ,hire scooters at reception. The restaurant is on the beach front with amazing sea views . I really can’t express how good this hotel is and friendly the staff are , all of them are pleasant great you with a smile and will go that extra mile to help you . We will definitely recommend and will return year after year

We were satisfied with our stay based on what you can expect from a 3 star-hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. WiFi has to be improved since we lost the connection from time to time. The speed of the WiFi could be improved as well.

We loved it! Only bad thing we have to say is we couldn’t stay another night because they were booked. Beautiful, safe, pools are relaxing and shaded for a break from the beach. Their beach is very limited but a block away there is easy access to a huge open beach. Highly recommend this hotel! We didn’t eat there so I can’t say how good the restaurant is but everything else was wonderful.

We were extremely pleased with our stay at Ayara Villas! The room was super spacious for a family of four - huge king size bed, side bed (and a pull-out bed as well!) and we got a free baby crib to the room too. Small kitchen area in the room, good shower. Good black-out curtains. The staff were so nice and friendly, they placed our room near the fabulous children's play room - which was huge, lots of toys, climbing blocks, slide and chill-out sofas and hammocks for adults too :) Books for different aged kids, even some baby toys and baby play mat. Our room had pool access, which was great, as the water was perfect ankle deep for our small children (then continued to the main pool). Several different pool areas, few kids pools and a play/waterslide area for children. (Even older kids would enjoy this.) Restaurant located at the beach was great, breakfast was very versatile - with egg station and a wide hot food & salad buffet. In-house made pancakes, real bacon and even cheese (which is a rare find in hotel breakfasts in Asia) :) Spa & massage also at the beach, which could be added to the room bill. Small private beach, not so suitable for youngest children, but nice none the less. Bigger /longer beach a short walk away. Location on a calm street with a few local restaurants near by. Short taxi ride or abt 1km walk to "main street" with restaurants, shops etc. Hotel offers shuttle to town every night at 6pm (big local market open 4 days a week).

Room smelled like a humid basement. Bedsheets and towels were dirty. The white Toilet seat had brown stains. Arrived late. Reception not able to speak English. Checked out the next morning. Receptionist manager told we would get a one night compensation (out af 3), but according to Hotels.com they deny that. Breakfast was fine.
